Description
Bleispitz wax crayon 12 pcs is a marking crayon for industrial use with a hexagonal body, 12 mm in diameter and 120 mm long. The pack contains 12 crayons of the same colour. The colour options are red, yellow, white and black.
The crayon is uncoated: the body has no paper or plastic sleeve, so you can shorten it with a knife and use it right to the end. The grease-based compound also sticks to wet and rough surfaces, so the mark is made without drying or cleaning the surface.
The mark is waterproof and weather and light-resistant, so it stays legible outdoors during storage and transport. Suitable surfaces are dry and wet wood, paper, cardboard, metal, stone, asphalt, tile and plastic.
The crayon is intended for hand marking that leaves a trace, and it stains the fingers; a separately available wax crayon holder keeps the crayon away from your hand and supports a crayon that has worn short. For pencil-type marking of precise measuring lines, use the Rexel carpenter’s pencil England blackedge and the Bleispitz marker pen.
Intended use and suitability:
Bleispitz wax crayon 12 pcs is intended for visible, rough working marks that do not need to be measured to the millimetre.
- Marking timber and sawn goods: the grease-based compound sticks to fresh and damp wood, so stacks can be marked in the rain and in outdoor storage.
- Metal and engineering workshops: the mark shows on rolled, rusty and oily steel surfaces where ink does not stick.
- Concrete, brick and stone: the 12 mm body withstands abrasion on porous surfaces and leaves a wide trace that can be seen from afar.
- Asphalt and groundworks: excavation, surveying and traffic management markings on roads and paving.
- Logistics: sorting marks on pallets, packages and cartons in the warehouse and at the loading dock.

Bleispitz wax crayon 12 pcs instructions for use:
Preparation: Choose a colour that contrasts with the substrate: white or yellow for dark wood and asphalt, red or black for light sawn timber and metal. Remove loose dirt and ice from the surface; a wet surface does not prevent marking.
Marking: Hold the crayon close to the tip and draw the mark with even pressure. On a rough surface, use a shallower angle so the body wears evenly and does not chip. Sharpen the tip with a knife or a wood pencil sharpener.
Holder: The separately available wax crayon holder keeps the crayon away from your fingers and pushes out a shortened crayon, so the body can be used to the end.
Removing the mark: A grease mark comes off a smooth surface with a solvent-based cleaner or by scraping. On porous concrete, stone and wood, the trace stays permanent.
Storage: Store the crayons in a dry, cool place. Heat softens the grease compound, so the crayons stick together and the trace spreads.
Warnings:
- Not a writing tool for children and not an art supply; keep out of the reach of children and pets.
- The grease compound stains skin, clothes and gloves. The colour comes off skin with soap; on textiles, the mark often stays permanent.
- A broken piece of crayon is a swallowing and choking hazard for small children and pets; collect the pieces after work.
- Not intended as a permanent safety or warning marking, nor for contact with food.
- Marking in traffic areas does not replace the traffic control devices required by regulations.
- Protect the crayons from temperatures above 40 °C; the grease compound softens and the bodies stick together.
