Description
Edma LED strip light 25 m is a 25-metre light strip wound on a carry reel for temporary site lighting. The product is intended for professional use on construction sites, in drywall work and at other locations that need a long, continuous line of light. The strip has a luminous flux of 1000 lm/m. With 180 LEDs per metre, the light is spread evenly without blind spots.
The colour temperature is 6500 K, a cool white light that gives good visibility across the work area. The strip and its connectors have an IP67 protection rating: the construction is dust-tight and withstands temporary immersion in water. The strip is therefore also suitable for outdoor sites in the rain and for damp spaces during the construction phase.
The strip has a total power of 240 W. It connects to mains power with a 1.5-metre power cord fitted with an earthed EU plug. The reels are linkable: you can connect up to 4 reels, or 100 metres of strip, in series to the same supply.
The strip is fixed to walls, ceilings or structures with the included 50-piece fixing kit of clear plastic clips and screws. The carry reel is carried by its handle, and its tubular stand keeps the reel upright on the floor or ground. The LEDs have a service life of 50,000 hours, and the product is CE and RoHS marked.
Intended use and suitability:
The light strip is intended for professional use as temporary general and supplementary lighting at sites where permanent lighting is not yet in place. The long strip lights a large area evenly from a single power connection.
- Construction sites: The strip is fixed to the walls or ceiling of corridors, stairwells and flats as temporary general lighting during the construction phase.
- Drywall and skimming work: Fitted along the junction of floor and wall, the strip gives low side lighting that shows unevenness in plasterboard joints and skimmed surfaces.
- Outdoor sites and yards: The IP67-rated strip and connectors withstand rain, so the strip can be used outdoors on scaffolding and walkways.
- Marking walkways: A continuous line of light shows the route and marks out the work area in low light.
- Supplementary lighting: For extra light in halls, warehouses and basements, the strip is fixed to structures over the length needed.

Edma LED strip light 25 m instructions for use:
The light strip is fully unwound from the reel before use. Install and connect it in the following order:
- Unwinding: Place the reel on its stand and unwind the full length of the strip. Do not use the strip while it is wound on the reel.
- Inspection: Check the strip, connectors, power cord and plug for damage before each use.
- Fixing: Fix the strip to the wall, ceiling or structures at suitable intervals with the plastic clips and screws from the fixing kit. Avoid tight bends and sharp edges.
- Linking: When you need a longer line of light, connect the reels one after another. A maximum of 4 reels, or 100 metres of strip, may be connected in series.
- Connections: Make sure the connectors are tightened securely and the free end of the strip has an end cap.
- Connecting power: Plug into an earthed socket. Outdoors and in damp spaces, use an RCD-protected supply and extension leads suitable for outdoor use.
- Winding up: Unplug from the socket before dismantling. Remove the clips, clean the strip with a damp cloth if needed and wind it back onto the reel without tight bends.
Warnings:
- Unwind the strip fully: The strip must not be used while wound on the reel.
- Damaged device: Do not use the strip if the strip, connectors, power cord or plug are damaged.
- Electrical safety: Connect only to an earthed socket. Unplug before fixing, moving or winding up the strip.
- Moisture: The IP67 protection applies to the strip and connectors. Keep the plug, socket and extension lead connections dry. Outdoors, use only extension leads suitable for outdoor use.
- Overload: Connect no more than 4 reels (100 m) in series.
- Glare: Do not look directly into the 6500 K LEDs at close range.
