Description
The GripLine construction tub 65 L is designed to meet the high demands of construction professionals, offering durability and reliability in everyday site use. This rectangular tub is made in Holland from high-quality, 100 percent recycled LDPE plastic (low-density polyethylene), which makes it an environmentally conscious choice without compromising the strength of the material. The choice of material guarantees excellent impact resistance and flexibility, which prevents cracks from forming even under heavy loads or knocks.
A significant advantage of the product is its ergonomic design with four sturdy grips. This “4 grips” design allows the tub to be handled and moved easily from different directions, alone or by two people, improving safety and reducing strain when lifting. The rectangular shape makes scooping and mixing materials easier than in round containers, and it sits steadily on its base.
The “Frost Resist” property, designed especially for Nordic conditions, ensures that the tub keeps working at cold temperatures. The plastic does not become brittle in frost in the same way as ordinary plastics, which extends the life of the product significantly in changing weather. This makes it a reliable partner for year-round outdoor use on building sites.
Safety and quality assurance are at the centre of the GripLine range. This construction tub has passed strict tests and has been awarded the respected TÜV GS certificate (Geprüfte Sicherheit). The marking shows that the product meets the requirements of the German Product Safety Act and is safe when used properly. The certification covers the product’s structural integrity and chemical safety, ensuring clean and safe use for professionals.
The 65-litre capacity offers optimal volume for many kinds of construction tasks: large enough to handle significant quantities of material, yet still manageable when fully loaded. Its sturdy construction is suitable for mixing and carrying heavy mortars, concrete and other building materials without the walls of the tub giving way.

Intended use:
This construction tub, designed for professional use, is a versatile tool in various construction, renovation and industrial environments. Its durable construction and ergonomic features make it ideal for the following uses:
- Mixing building materials: The tub is very well suited to mixing mortars, concrete, fillers and other viscous materials. Its rectangular shape and sturdy walls withstand the strain of machine mixing and make it easier to work the material with a shovel or trowel, ensuring an even result.
- Moving and carrying materials on site: Thanks to the four strong handles, moving even heavy materials such as sand, gravel, bricks or demolition waste on site is safer and more ergonomic. The tub can be carried securely with different grips, which makes it easier to get through confined spaces or over uneven ground.
- Storing tools and supplies: Thanks to its large 65-litre capacity, the tub can be used as a temporary storage container for tools, fixings and other supplies on site. It keeps supplies together and within easy reach, and its durable construction protects the contents in site conditions.
- Handling and storing liquids: The waterproof, chemical-resistant LDPE construction allows temporary storage and carrying of water and other non-hazardous liquids needed on site. It can be used, for example, as a basin for washing tools or as a water container for masonry work.

GripLine construction tub 65 L instructions for use:
To ensure the best durability and safety, follow these instructions for use and maintenance of the GripLine construction tub.
Use as a mixing container:
Always place the tub on a level, firm base before you start mixing. When mixing mortar or concrete with a mixing paddle, hold the tub by its handles to stop it from turning. Avoid hitting the rim of the tub with sharp tools such as a shovel when cleaning it. Although the material is durable, repeated sharp blows can shorten its service life.
Lifting and carrying:
Use the four handles to get an ergonomic lifting position. When lifting heavy loads, keep your back straight and lift with your legs. Do not exceed your own safe lifting capacity. For very heavy loads, it is recommended that two people lift the tub by opposite handles to keep it balanced. Make sure the route is clear of obstacles before carrying.
Use in cold conditions (Frost Resist):
Although the product is frost-resistant, avoid dropping a full tub from a height onto a hard surface in very hard frost. Knocking frozen material loose by hitting the outside of the tub can damage the structure in extreme cold; preferably let the contents thaw or use careful methods.
Cleaning and storage:
Clean the tub after use, especially if cement-based materials have been mixed in it. Dried mortar is hard to remove later. Rinse with water and use a brush if needed. Store the tubs nested inside each other to save space. Although the material withstands UV radiation, long-term storage in direct sunlight can affect the properties of the plastic over time.
Warnings:
- Risk of overloading: Do not fill the tub with materials whose weight exceeds what can be handled safely. Very heavy loads can cause a risk of injury when lifting.
- Chemical resistance: LDPE withstands most substances used on building sites, but it is not suitable for long-term storage of strong solvents, acids or certain oils. Check the chemical resistance of the material before using unusual substances.
- Sharp objects: Avoid throwing sharp objects into the tub with great force, as they can damage or puncture the plastic surface.
- Not for food use: As the product is made of recycled material and is intended for construction use, it is not approved for storing food or drinking water.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Can the GripLine construction tub be used outdoors in winter?
Yes, the tub has the “Frost Resist” property, which means that the LDPE material is designed to withstand frost without becoming brittle better than normal plastic, so it is suitable for year-round site use.
What does the TÜV GS certificate mean for this product?
The TÜV GS marking shows that an independent testing institute has tested the safety and quality of the product and found that it meets strict German and European safety standards for professional use.
What material is the tub made of?
The tub is made of 100% recycled LDPE plastic (low-density polyethylene), which is known for its flexibility and impact resistance.
Can concrete be mixed in the tub with a mechanical mixer?
Yes, the tub is sturdily built and suitable for machine mixing of mortars and concrete. Its rectangular shape and strong walls withstand the strain of mixing.
Recycling instructions:
This product is made of LDPE plastic (recycling code 04), which is a fully recyclable material. When the product reaches the end of its life:
- Clean construction waste such as dried concrete or mortar off the tub as well as possible.
- Take the cleaned tub to a suitable plastic recycling point or a waste station that accepts rigid plastics.
- Check local waste management regulations to make sure it is recycled correctly in your area.
Sort any product packaging by material (e.g. cardboard or packaging plastic) in line with local recycling instructions.
