Description
This general-purpose polyester paint roller is designed for efficient, fast painting of flat surfaces such as walls and ceilings. The 12 mm pile depth of the roller holds paint optimally, allowing long strokes and reducing spatter while painting.
The Ø16 mm inside diameter of the core makes this spare roller compatible with most standard-size roller frames on the market. Polyester keeps its shape and paint-carrying capacity even on larger projects, provided the roller is cleaned properly between uses.
This polyester paint roller is at its best with water-based paints such as acrylate and latex paints. Suitable for painting fairly smooth and semi-rough surfaces, the roller leaves an even paint film. The pack of two lets you work without interruption, as colour changes or cleaning the roller can be handled more flexibly.
The Universal design ensures that the roller adapts quickly to changing painting needs on different sites. The durable polyester pile is firmly attached to the core, so no annoying loose fibres are left on the painted surface. This ensures a neat, clean result with every stroke.
Intended use:
- Painting walls: This polyester paint roller is an ideal choice for finishing interior walls. The 12 mm pile spreads paint evenly on plasterboard, filled or concrete surfaces, leaving a neat, even finish.
- Painting ceilings: When treating ceilings, the roller’s ability to hold liquid is essential for minimising spatter. When loaded correctly, the roller holds the paint in a controlled way and makes painting a ceiling neater.
- Primer and top coats: The product is suitable both for applying primers and for building up top coats with water-based products.

Painter paint roller instructions for use:
Before first use, it is advisable to wash the polyester paint roller lightly with water and soap to remove loose dust and loose fibres left over from manufacturing. Let the roller dry or squeeze the water out carefully before painting. Dip the roller evenly in the paint tray so that it absorbs paint on all sides, but avoid immersing it completely. Roll off the excess paint against the grooved part of the tray. Paint with long, continuous strokes. During breaks in work, you can keep the roller wrapped airtight in a plastic bag to stop the paint drying. When the work is done, wash the roller thoroughly, for water-based paints with warm water and a mild detergent if needed, until the rinse water is clear.
Warnings:
- Not suitable for use with strong solvents that attack plastic, as they can damage the polyester pile or the plastic core of the roller.
- Make sure the roller is carefully attached and locked onto the roller frame before starting work, so that the roller does not come off during work.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
- Which paints is this polyester paint roller best suited to? The roller is designed primarily for applying water-based wall and ceiling paints.
- Can the roller be washed and reused? Yes, the roller has a long life as long as it is washed thoroughly immediately after use and dried in an airy place.

Recycling instructions:
