Description
This radiator brush set is designed especially for places that are difficult or impossible to reach with an ordinary straight-handled brush. The key feature of the brushes is their long 400 mm overall length and the bent angle at the end of the handle (the so-called neck), which guides the bristle part into the right position even in narrow gaps. The set includes the three most common widths (25 mm, 38 mm and 50 mm), so you can choose the right size for the job, whether it is the narrow back of a pipe or a wider wall surface.
The brushes have light-coloured synthetic bristles 50 mm long. The synthetic fibre material was chosen for its durability and good paint release. The bristles are excellent for modern water-based paints and varnishes but also work with solvent-based products. Synthetic fibre keeps its shape well and does not swell with moisture in the same way as natural bristle, which guarantees an even cutting-in line even during long periods of work.
The long handle not only increases reach but also improves ergonomics by reducing the need to stretch or work in awkward positions. This makes the set an essential tool for painting behind radiators, pipework, eaves and other hard-to-reach corners and recesses. The metal ferrule makes sure the bristles stay in place and gives the brush a robust construction.
Intended use:
The product is optimised for surface treatment of hard-to-reach places.
- Behind radiators: The angle of the brush and the long handle let you paint the wall behind a radiator without removing the radiator.
- Pipework and gutters: Excellent for painting the back of various pipes, gutters and channels.
- Eaves and high corners: The long handle gives extra reach for painting the ceiling line and fascia boards without climbing a ladder on low buildings.
- Narrow recesses: The backs of cabinets, around machinery and other narrow gaps.

Radiator brush set 3-piece instructions for use:
Choose a brush width that suits the size of the area. Dip the brush into the paint about halfway up the bristles and wipe excess paint off on the rim of the container to avoid drips running down the long handle. When painting behind a radiator or pipe, use the angle of the brush to get “round the corner”. Hold the brush loosely by the handle; for precise work you can grip closer to the ferrule, and for jobs that need reach, at the end of the handle. Wash the brush immediately after use with the thinner for the paint (usually water) and hang it up to dry so that the bristles stay straight.
Warnings:
Take care not to hit the surface being painted or the surface of the radiator with the metal part of the brush (the ferrule), so that it does not get scratched. Make sure the radiator to be painted has cooled down (is not hot) before painting, so that the paint does not dry too quickly and leave an uneven finish.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Can these be used for oil paints?
Yes, the synthetic bristles withstand most oil paints and solvents, but they are at their best with water-based paints.
Why is the handle so long?
The length is designed especially for reach, so that you can paint places your hand cannot fit into or reach, such as behind radiators.
Does the brush leave streaks?
The synthetic bristles are designed to level the paint well. With the right amount of paint and strokes, the finish is even.
Recycling instructions:
If the brush has dried paint on it, it is disposed of as mixed waste. A completely clean, dry brush can be separated by material (metal, wood/plastic), but most often it is mixed waste. Dispose of the plastic bag of the packaging as plastic waste and the product card as cardboard.
