The Procat ratchet combination spanner is a hand tool designed for industrial maintenance, installation work and mechanical assembly lines. The body of the tool is made of forged and hardened chrome vanadium steel (CrV), which guarantees high torsional strength and stress resistance to standard. The surface finish is matt chrome, which protects the tool against corrosion and improves the grip in oily or damp conditions.
The ring end of the tool has an integrated 72-tooth ratchet mechanism. This precision-machined gear construction allows a very small return angle of only 5 degrees (5°). Procat ratchet combination spanner instructions for use:
1. Choose the nominal size that fits the bolt or nut head exactly. Do not use a spanner that is too large, to avoid slipping and rounding the corners.
2. Place the open end of the spanner on the thread for initial loosening if the nut is very tight or rusted, or use the ring end when you want to switch to fast ratcheting.
3. Place the ratchet ring end over the nut, making sure the toothed ring sits fully around the bolt head. Move the spanner back and forth in a tightening or loosening motion. To change the direction of the tool, turn the spanner upside down (changing direction without a lever adds structural durability).
4. After use, clean the tool with a dry cloth to remove metal dust and oil residue from the edges of the ratchet mechanism.
Warnings:
