Description

Procat household scissors 21 cm are general-purpose scissors with blades made of 2Cr13 stainless steel. The blades are stamped with the marking STAINLESS STEEL. The overall length of the scissors is 21 cm, and the blades pivot on a single centre pin.

The upper blade is micro-serrated. The serrations increase friction between the blade and the material, so slippery and flexible materials such as plastic film, cable ties and tape do not slip away while cutting. The lower blade is smooth, so the cut stays straight.

The handles are two-component, with a black body and a softer red grip surface. A serrated gripper is moulded between the handles near the hinge, giving a firm grip on round objects such as caps and nuts. The handle loops are roomy and also fit a gloved hand.

A black plastic blade guard is supplied that covers both blades completely. The lower edge of the guard has a curved opening that makes it easy to remove and refit. The guard keeps the blades sharp and prevents cuts in the toolbox.

Intended use and suitability:

The scissors are intended for cutting light and medium-hard materials when both a long cutting blade and grip on slippery material are needed.

Procat household scissors 21 cm instructions for use:

1. Getting started: Pull the blade guard straight off in line with the blades. Check that the centre pin is tight and that the blades close evenly along their full length.

2. Cutting: When cutting tough material, place it between the blades as close to the hinge as possible, where the cutting force is greatest. Cut thin materials with the tip section of the blades in a long stroke.

3. Using the gripper: Place the round object in the serrated section between the handles and slowly squeeze the handles together. Do not use the gripper to cut metal wire.

4. Cleaning and maintenance: Wash the blades by hand in warm water and dry them immediately after use. Add a drop of oil to the centre pin if the movement becomes stiff.

5. Storage: Refit the blade guard so that it covers both blades, and store the scissors in a dry place.

Warnings:

  • The blades are sharp. Hold the scissors only by the handles and keep the blade guard on when the tool is not in use.
  • Do not put your fingers between the handles at the serrated gripper during the cutting or squeezing movement.
  • The scissors conduct electricity and are not insulated. Do not use them on live wires.
  • Do not cut metal wire, screws or hard plastic, as the blade chips and the hinge loosens.
  • Do not wash in a dishwasher: heat and detergents blunt the micro-serration and dry out the hinge.
  • Keep out of the reach of children. The product is not a toy.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ):

What does 2Cr13 steel mean? It is a martensitic stainless steel grade with about 13% chromium. The chromium gives corrosion resistance, and hardening gives the cutting edge sufficient hardness.

Can the scissors be washed in a dishwasher? This is not recommended. Heat and detergents blunt the micro-serration and remove the lubrication from the hinge. Wash by hand and dry immediately.

Can the serrated gripper cut metal wire? No. The gripper is for gripping round objects, not for cutting. Use side cutters to cut metal wire.

Does the blade guard have a hanging hole or belt clip? No. The guard has a smooth surface and a curved opening on its lower edge for removal.

Which blade is serrated? The upper blade is micro-serrated and the lower one smooth. The combination holds the material and leaves a straight cut.

Recycling instructions:

Discarded scissors go to metal collection. The plastic handles do not need to be removed if the collection point accepts tools of mixed construction; otherwise, put the scissors in mixed waste. The plastic blade guard goes to energy waste or mixed waste. Cover the sharp edges before disposal.

Käyttötarkoitus

Kevyiden ja keskikovien materiaalien leikkaaminen: pahvi, teippi, muovikalvo, nippuside, naru, kangas ja elintarvikepakkaukset. Kahvojen välinen hammastettu puristin on tarkoitettu pyöreiden kappaleiden, kuten korkkien ja pähkinöiden, puristamiseen. Ei tarkoitettu metallilangan, ruuvien tai kovan muovin leikkaamiseen eikä jännitteellisten johtojen käsittelyyn.

Lasten ja lemmikkien varoitukset

Tuotteessa on terävät metalliterät ja se aiheuttaa viilto- ja pistovaaran. Tuote ei ole lelu. Säilytettävä teräsuojus paikoillaan lasten ja lemmikkien ulottumattomissa.

Käyttöohje ja turvatiedot

Irrota teräsuojus vetämällä se suoraan terien suuntaisesti. Tarkista ennen käyttöä, että keskitappi on tiukalla ja terät sulkeutuvat tasaisesti. Leikkaa sitkeä materiaali läheltä saranaa ja ohut materiaali terien kärkiosalla. Tartu saksiin vain kahvoista. Älä aseta sormia hammastetun puristimen kohdalle. Pese käsin ja kuivaa heti käytön jälkeen; konepesu tylsyttää mikrosahalaidan ja kuivattaa saranan. Aseta teräsuojus takaisin heti käytön jälkeen.

Toiminta ja suojatoimet

Mekaaninen vipuvarsityökalu, jonka leikkuuvoima kasvaa saranaa kohti. Ylemmän terän mikrosahalaita estää liukkaan materiaalin karkaamisen. Mukana toimitettava muovinen teräsuojus peittää molemmat terät säilytyksen ajaksi. Kahvojen kaksikomponenttirakenne vaimentaa puristusvoimaa sormille. Viiltosuojakäsineiden käyttö on suositeltavaa sitkeitä materiaaleja leikattaessa.

Ympäristöolosuhteet

2Cr13-teräs kestää tavanomaisia sisä-, keittiö- ja varastotilojen olosuhteita. Säilytys kuivassa. Terät kuivataan käytön jälkeen, jotta korroosionkesto säilyy. Pitkäaikaista altistusta suolaliuoksille, hapoille ja kloorille vältetään.

Avsedd användning

Bruksanvisning och säkerhetsinformation

Ta av bladskyddet genom att dra det rakt i bladens riktning. Kontrollera före användning att centrumskruven sitter åt och att bladen sluter jämnt. Skär segt material nära leden och tunt material med bladspetsarna. Håll saxen endast i handtagen. Placera inte fingrarna vid den tandade klämman. Diska för hand och torka omedelbart efter användning; maskindisk slöar mikrosågtandningen och torkar ur leden. Sätt tillbaka bladskyddet direkt efter användning.

Funktion och skyddsåtgärder

Ett mekaniskt hävarmsverktyg vars skärkraft ökar närmare leden. Det övre bladets mikrosågtandning hindrar halt material från att glida undan. Miljöförhållanden

2Cr13-stål tål normala förhållanden inomhus, i kök och i lager. Förvaras torrt. Bladen torkas efter användning så att korrosionsbeständigheten bevaras. Långvarig exponering för saltlösningar, syror och klor undviks.

Intended use

The plastic blade guard supplied covers both blades during storage. The two-component construction of the handles cushions the gripping force on the fingers. Cut-resistant gloves are recommended when cutting tough materials.

Environmental conditions

2Cr13 steel withstands normal conditions in indoor, kitchen and storage spaces. Store in a dry place. Dry the blades after use to maintain corrosion resistance. Avoid prolonged exposure to salt solutions, acids and chlorine.

Kasutusjuhend ja ohutusteave
