The blade of the BeaverCraft carving adze is masterfully shaped from top-quality 1066 carbon steel, which gives considerable strength and durability and also guarantees stable, long-lasting performance even in the most demanding conditions. The blade’s hardness of 56–58 HRC ensures that it keeps its edge despite repeated use, and every carving stroke is as effortless as the last. The blade is firmly attached and gives you confidence even in the most complex and detailed carving work.
The adze’s ash handle is designed to be sturdy and durable as well as comfortable in the hand, which allows long periods of work without strain. The linseed oil and wax treatment of the handle adds to its longevity and resistance and also brings out the beautiful natural look of the ash. The ergonomically shaped handle, combined with the tool’s balanced design, gives you comfort, efficiency and, above all, safety in every project.

Using the carving adze
Use the BeaverCraft carving adze to carve and shape wood by taking a firm grip on the handle and moving the blade against the wood as you need. Precise strokes and the blade angle allow accurate carving. The leather sheath protects the blade when it is not in use, and the belt holster makes it easy to carry.

- Every tool is tested and goes through strict quality control.
- The tools are professionally sharpened and come ready to use straight from the box.
- Every instrument has a solid construction, and the blade is glued firmly and securely fixed to the handle.
- The tool blade is made of hardenable carbon steel and hardened to 56+ HRC.
- Our tools do not break if used properly (for woodcarving only).
The warranty does not cover the following cases:
- Normal wear and tear of the product. Every customer must maintain the sharpness of the tool they have bought themselves. Loss of sharpness during use is not a reason for BeaverCraft to repair or replace the tool.
- Misuse or mishandling. BeaverCraft tools are designed for hand carving only.
- Lack of maintenance and cleaning (learn how to look after your tools). Faults caused by storing the tool incorrectly are not grounds for replacement.
- Self-repair, modification, disassembly and other human action that causes damage.
- Loss of the tool.
