A passion for woodworking and community

Founded in 2014, BeaverCraft has quickly become one of the most popular makers of carving tools worldwide. The company's philosophy is simple: everyone should be able to enjoy woodcarving without expensive start-up costs or poor-quality tools. BeaverCraft controls its entire production chain at its Kyiv factory, from hardening the steel to finishing the handles, to ensure consistent quality.

Along with tools, BeaverCraft offers a complete experience. Its popular YouTube channel and extensive tutorial library guide carvers from their very first shaving to demanding projects. The special high-carbon steel (High Carbon Steel) used in the products is optimised to hold its edge even in hard use, and the ergonomic ash handles are treated with natural linseed oil to guarantee a comfortable grip.

Frequently asked questions

Do carbon steel knives rust?

Yes, carbon steel can rust if it is left damp. This is a sign of the high carbon content that makes the blade hard. Always clean and dry the tool after use and oil it regularly with the oil supplied or another oil.

Is BeaverCraft suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. The brand is designed specifically to make it easier to take up the hobby. The knives are ready to use without sharpening, and the range includes comprehensive starter kits with instructions.

Where are the tools made?

All BeaverCraft tools are made at the company's own factory in Ukraine. This guarantees strict quality control and ethical production conditions.

How hard are the blades?

BeaverCraft uses a specially alloyed carbon steel for its blades, hardened to 57–59 HRC (Rockwell). This is the optimal balance between edge durability and ease of sharpening for woodcarving.
