Description
The Flo folding saw is designed for garden work and pruning branches. The 150 mm long blade of the saw is made of durable SK5 high-carbon steel with a hardness of 50–52 HRC. The blade is 1.0 mm thick, which gives it sufficient stiffness when sawing. The blade has a PTFE coating (polytetrafluoroethylene), which reduces friction while sawing and protects the blade from corrosion, also making it easier to clean resin and dirt off the blade.
The saw has coarse 6 TPI (Teeth Per Inch) teeth, especially suitable for sawing fresh wood. The teeth are sharpened on three sides, which means the saw cuts effectively on both the push and pull strokes, speeding up work. The handle of the saw is made of durable ABS plastic and coated with softer TPR rubber. This combination of materials gives a firm, ergonomic grip even in damp conditions or when wearing gloves. The blade of the saw folds into the handle for storage and transport.
Intended use:
The compact folding saw is suitable for a wide range of outdoor uses.
- Pruning branches: Tidying and removing branches of trees and shrubs in the garden.
- Garden work: General sawing needs in yard and garden environments.
- Hiking and outdoor activities: A light saw that packs small, for cutting firewood or camping.
Package contents:
- 1 pc Flo folding saw 150 mm
Features:
- Blade material SK5: High-carbon steel offers good wear resistance and stays sharp for a long time (hardness 50–52 HRC).
- PTFE coating: Significantly reduces friction while sawing and protects the blade from rust.
- Triple-ground teeth: Sharpening the teeth on three sides allows sawing in both directions (push and pull).
- 6 TPI teeth: The coarse teeth are optimal for fast cutting of fresh, damp wood.
- TPR rubberised handle: Gives a non-slip grip and improves comfort in use.
- Folding construction: The blade folds into the handle, which makes the saw safe to carry and compact to store.
Technical specifications:

- Teeth: 6 TPI (teeth per inch)
- Blade material: SK5 carbon steel
- Blade hardness: 50–52 HRC
- Blade coating: PTFE
- Handle material: ABS, TPR

Instructions for use:
Open the saw by turning the blade out of the handle to its full length. Place the blade on the branch to be sawn and start sawing with calm strokes. Use the saw’s ability to cut in both directions by using the whole length of the blade. Avoid twisting the blade in the kerf. After use, clean resin and moisture off the blade, for example with an oiled cloth, before folding the blade back into the handle.
Warnings:
- The saw blade is very sharp. Handle with care.
- Always wear appropriate protective equipment, such as protective gloves and safety glasses, when sawing.
- Keep the saw out of the reach of children.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
What is the benefit of the PTFE coating?
PTFE coating is a slippery material that reduces friction between the blade and the wood, making sawing lighter. It also protects the blade from rust and stops resin sticking.
Can the saw blade be replaced?
This saw is designed with a fixed blade, and the blade cannot be replaced by the user.
Recycling instructions:
The saw consists of a metal blade and a plastic/rubber handle. If the parts can be separated, the metal blade is recycled in metal collection and the handle as energy waste or in plastic collection according to local rules. If the parts cannot be separated safely, dispose of the whole product as mixed waste or take it to a waste station as scrap metal.
