Instructions for use:
- Dampen: Gorilla Glue is activated by moisture. Lightly dampen both surfaces to be joined with water. Do not soak the surfaces, and do not add water to the glue bottle. The surfaces must be clean. We recommend wearing gloves to protect your skin, as Gorilla Glue can stain skin and clothing.
- Glue: Apply a thin layer of Gorilla Glue to both surfaces to be joined. Note that the glue expands to 3–4 times its volume as it dries, so avoid applying too thick a layer.
- Clamp: Press the pieces together and keep them clamped for 1–2 hours. You can use a heavy object or Gorilla Tape® to add clamping pressure, which improves the quality of the joint.
- Storage: Clean the nozzle of the glue bottle with a dry cloth after use. Squeeze the air out of the bottle and close the cap tightly.
