Description

Traditional wooden marking gauge/line scriber with a 200mm beam. This traditional marking gauge is a great aid for marking straight lines on different materials. Its durable marking blade is made of Cr-V steel. Well suited to marking different materials such as wood and metal.

Marking gauges/line scribers are used to measure and mark the inside dimension you want from the edge of a piece. First measure the marking point you want from the edge of the piece and then lock the marking gauge at that point. You can now mark a line along the whole length of the piece by pressing and moving the marking gauge along the straight outer edge of the piece.
