Description
Painter acrylic brush synthetic bristle FSC G03 is designed especially for efficient application of acrylic paints and other water-based finishes. The construction and materials of the brush support controlled transfer of liquid from the container to the surface while ensuring an even finish on various substrates.
The most important part of the tool is its synthetic bristle. Unlike natural bristles, synthetic fibres do not absorb water, so they do not swell or lose their shape when working with water-based products. The flexibility and structure of the bristles hold the paint firmly in the brush and release it evenly onto the surface, which prevents unwanted brush marks in the paint surface.
The body of the brush is an FSC-certified wooden handle. The FSC label guarantees that the wood used in the product comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests. The wooden handle is shaped to sit naturally in the hand, which helps reduce strain on the wrist and steadies the grip during long painting stages.
The synthetic bristles are locked tightly into the wooden handle with a durable metal ferrule. The mechanical fixing stops bristles coming out when wet or during cleaning. The whole G03 brush range is designed to withstand repeated use and cleaning when maintained according to the instructions.
Intended use:
- Acrylic painting: Suitable for applying acrylic paints to indoor and outdoor surfaces. The synthetic fibre copes with the fast drying of acrylic and is easy to clean.
- Water-based paints and varnishes: Optimised for various water-based paints, panel varnishes and primers without the bristles losing their shape.
- Precision painting and finishing: The smaller widths allow precise work around mouldings, frames and tight corners, while the wider models cover larger areas quickly.

Painter acrylic brush G03 instructions for use:
Before you start painting, it is a good idea to brush the brush lightly by hand to remove loose dust. Dip no more than half of the bristles into the paint or varnish; this stops paint rising into the ferrule and handle, which significantly extends the life of the tool. Apply the paint with even, parallel strokes.
During breaks, the brush can be wrapped tightly in a plastic bag or cling film to stop the paint drying. Avoid leaving the brush resting on its bristles in a paint or water container for long periods, as this distorts the shape of the bristles.
After use, acrylic and water-based paints must be washed out immediately with warm water and mild soap. Work the bristles gently until the water is completely clear. Shake off the excess water, shape the bristles back to their original form with your fingers and leave the brush to dry either hanging or on a flat surface.
Warnings:
This synthetic brush is not suitable for use with strong solvents or strong chemicals (e.g. paint strippers or thinners), as they can melt or damage the synthetic fibre. Always make sure there is ventilation as required by the paint or varnish used.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Why choose synthetic bristle for acrylic paints?
Acrylic paints are water-based. Natural bristles absorb water and lose their shape, which makes the paint finish uneven. Synthetic fibre does not absorb water, so it keeps its spring and allows even application.
Can this brush be used with oil paints?
A synthetic brush can be used with oil paints, but cleaning solvent-based products out of it can be more difficult. Strong solvents may also weaken the structure of the fibre in the long term.
What does the FSC label mean on this product?
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label shows that the wooden handle of the brush is made of wood from responsibly, ecologically and socially sustainably managed forests.
Recycling instructions:
When the brush reaches the end of its life and is completely dry and free of hazardous chemical residues, it is sorted as mixed waste. If the bristles contain undried material classified as hazardous, the brush must be taken to a hazardous waste collection point. Packaging materials are sorted into plastic or cardboard collection depending on the packaging material.
