Description
Painter plasterboard joint tape is designed to ensure reliable, even finishing of plasterboard joints. This 50 mm wide and 75 metre long paper-based joint tape offers an optimal solution for sealing structures and preventing cracks on wall and ceiling surfaces.
The product’s porous paper structure is optimised to work perfectly with fillers. It lets the jointing compound penetrate the tape, which creates a strong bond with the edge of the plasterboard and ensures that the joint becomes durable and even. The tape’s long roll length guarantees efficient work even on large surfaces.
Plasterboard joint tape has been developed to withstand mechanical stress and prevent joints cracking when structures undergo natural movement. Its accurate width makes it easier to place the tape in the middle of the joint, which helps achieve a finished, even result before painting or wallpapering.
By using this high-quality paper joint tape you ensure that the surface treatment of plasterboard walls and ceilings goes smoothly. The product is compatible with most plasterboard fillers on the market, which makes it a versatile choice for different construction projects.

Painter plasterboard joint tape instructions for use:
First apply an even layer of plasterboard filler to the joint. Place the Painter plasterboard joint tape on the filler in the middle of the joint and press it lightly into the filler, for example with a wide steel trowel, so that air is removed from under the tape. Smooth the edges of the tape by covering them with a thin layer of filler. Let it dry and continue in layers if necessary until the joint is completely even. Store the tape roll in a dry space at room temperature.
Warnings:
Do not let the product get wet before installation. Use suitable protective equipment (e.g. a respirator) to avoid dust if you sand filled joints.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
