Description
This CE-approved FFP2-class respirator with valve is designed to provide a high level of protection against solid and liquid particles. The respirators meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation 2016/425 and the EN149:2001+A1:2009 standard. Each pack contains three respirators fitted with elastic straps that go behind the head and an exhalation valve, which makes them comfortable and effective to use.

Applications
The FFP2 respirator is recommended especially in situations where protection is needed against particles produced when working wood, composite materials, putty, plaster and plastic. It is also suitable for cutting, grinding and drilling metal and for protection against street dust and pollen.
Instructions for use
- Open the pack and check that the respirators are intact.
- Place the respirator on your face so that the nose clip is over your nose and the elastic straps are behind your head.
- Adjust the nose clip so that it is tight but comfortable.
- Make sure the respirator fits tightly to your face and that air passes mainly through the valve.
Warnings
- Replace the respirator regularly, especially if it feels damp or dirty.
- Do not use the respirator if it does not fit tightly or if it is damaged.
- Store the respirators in a dry, clean place, protected from direct sunlight and dust.
Respirator classes:
FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 (marked on the pack and the mask).
- FFP1: 4 x OEL. Protects against solid and liquid particles harmful to health, but not against toxic particles. Filter efficiency: 80%. Total inward leakage < 22%. Nominal protection factor: 4.5. Applications: handling aggregate or cellulose, and cleaning.
- FFP2: 10 x OEL. Protects against low-toxicity solid and liquid particles. Filter efficiency: 94%. Total inward leakage < 8%. Nominal protection factor: 12.5 Applications: working wood, composite materials, putty, plaster and plastic, rust removal, cutting, grinding and drilling metal, and protection against street dust and pollen.
- FFP3: 50 x OEL. Protects against toxic solid and liquid particles. Filter efficiency: 99%. Total inward leakage < 2%. Nominal protection factor: 50 Applications: sanding hardwood (e.g. beech, oak), impregnating wood with copper, chromium or arsenic, mechanical paint removal, concrete grinding or protection against mould dust.
