Description
The Procat multi-tool blade set 7-piece contains seven blades for oscillating multi-tools in a plastic carry case. The set has four blade models: WMT69 (2 pcs), WMT34 (2 pcs), WMT44 (2 pcs) and WMT87 (1 pcs), so the most common cutting, plunge and flush-cutting tasks are covered by one pack.
There are two blade materials. The HCS blades WMT69 and WMT34 are intended for wood, wooden laminates, soft plastics and fibreglass. The bi-metal blades WMT44 and WMT87 also cut steel sheet, aluminium profiles and copper pipe as well as plasterboard and almost all plastics.
The blade widths cover everything from narrow plunge cuts to wide cross-cuts: 34 mm, 44 mm, 69 mm and 87 mm. The tooth pitch is 1.4 mm on the HCS blades and 1.36 mm on the 87 mm bi-metal blade. The wide WMT87 is a “flush cut” blade for flush sawing, with which the cut reaches right down to the surface, for example at the base of a door frame.
The fitting is the common multi-point fitting of multi-tools, and the set is marked as compatible with the following: Bosch Multi-X, Fein Multimaster, Skil Multi Tools, Ridgid Multi Tools, Dremel Multi-Max, Milwaukee Multi Tool, Makita Multi Tool and MasterCraft Multi Tool. In the carry case, the blades stay in order and the teeth are protected.
Intended use and suitability:
An oscillating multi-tool moves the blade back and forth through a small angle, so the blade cuts without a rotating movement and can get right up against a surface.
- Cutting wood and laminate: HCS blades WMT69 and WMT34 for trims, panels and wooden laminates.
- Cutting metal and pipes: bi-metal blades WMT44 and WMT87 for thin steel sheet, aluminium profiles and copper pipe.
- Plunge cutting: the narrow 34 mm blade starts a cut in the middle of a board without pre-drilling.
- Flush cutting: the 87 mm bi-metal blade cuts a frame or trim flush with the floor surface.
- Plasterboard and plastics: the bi-metal blades go through plasterboard and most building plastics.

Procat multi-tool blade set 7-piece, wood and metal instructions for use:
Changing the blade: Disconnect the tool from the mains or remove the battery. Place the blade in the holder so that the locating pins engage the holes in the blade, and tighten the locking screw or close the quick-release fully.
Choosing the blade: For wood, laminate, soft plastic and fibreglass, an HCS blade (WMT69, WMT34). For metal, copper pipe, plasterboard and flush cutting, a bi-metal blade (WMT44, WMT87).
Cutting: Start the tool before bringing the blade into contact with the material. Let the blade do the work with a light feed; excessive pressure heats the teeth and slows the cut. When cutting metal, use a lower oscillation frequency.
Maintenance: Let the blade cool, brush the dust out of the teeth and return the blade to its place in the case.
Warnings:
- Always disconnect the tool from the power supply or remove the battery before changing the blade.
- Wear safety glasses and ear defenders; cutting dust and metal chips fly about.
- The blade heats up when cutting: do not touch it with bare hands straight after use.
- Check what is inside the wall or floor before plunge cutting: electrical cables and water pipes are damaged by the blade.
- Clamp the workpiece; a loose piece moves with the oscillation.
- Store the blades in the case out of reach of children.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Which blades does the Procat multi-tool blade set 7-piece contain? Two HCS blades WMT69 (69 mm), two HCS blades WMT34 (34 mm), two bi-metal blades WMT44 (44 mm) and one bi-metal flush-cut blade WMT87 (87 mm).
Which tools do the blades fit? The set is marked as compatible with Bosch Multi-X, Fein Multimaster, Skil, Ridgid, Dremel Multi-Max, Milwaukee, Makita and MasterCraft multi-tools.
What is the difference between HCS and bi-metal blades? An HCS blade is intended for wood, laminate, soft plastic and fibreglass. A bi-metal blade also cuts steel sheet, aluminium and copper pipe.
What is a flush-cut blade? WMT87 is a wide bi-metal blade whose shape allows it to cut flush with the surface, for example at the base of a frame.
Can the blades cut hardened steel? No. The bi-metal blades are intended for thin steel sheet, aluminium and copper pipe, not for hardened steel or solid metal structures.
Recycling instructions:
Take worn and broken blades to metal collection. Sort the plastic carry case and packaging plastics into plastic collection and the cardboard packaging into carton collection. Cover the teeth before disposal.
