Schwan foam rubber squeegee is a heavy-duty floor squeegee made in Germany (“Made in Germany”). The body of the product has a reinforced metal back, which makes it very stable and durable. This rigid construction lets you apply more pressure while working without the body of the squeegee bending or twisting.
The working part of the squeegee is a double foam rubber blade. Foam rubber is a flexible material that adapts very well to uneven surfaces too, such as concrete floors or tiling, ensuring tight contact with the substrate. The double construction improves the drying result and extends the life of the tool even in harder use.
As well as the traditional removal of water and washing liquids, this Schwan model is designed especially for handling tough and viscous materials. Instructions for use:
Fix the squeegee head firmly to a compatible handle. When drying liquids, pull the squeegee towards you with even pressure so that the foam rubber wipes the surface dry. When spreading compounds or moving heavy dirt, you can use a pushing movement, taking advantage of the rigidity of the metal body. Clean the foam rubber thoroughly straight after use, especially if you have handled setting compounds or strong chemicals, so that the rubber does not become brittle or harden.
Warnings:
Avoid using the foam rubber squeegee on surfaces with sharp objects (such as glass shards, metal chips or sharp stones), as they can cut the soft rubber surface. Do not store the squeegee with the rubber against the floor under weight for long periods, so that the rubber does not get permanent dents.

What is the advantage of a double rubber blade?
The double rubber makes the squeegee firmer and ensures that if the first rubber lip does not remove all the liquid, the second finishes the job. It also extends the service life, as there is more wearing surface.
Does this withstand oil and chemicals?
The foam rubber withstands the most common detergents and oils reasonably well, but it should be rinsed clean after use. Very strong solvents can make the rubber brittle over time.
