Description
The Vorel reflective vest yellow is an EN ISO 20471:2013 + A1:2016 class 2 visibility compliant, CE-marked (PPE 2016/425) high-visibility vest. The fluorescent yellow base material gives high contrast in daylight and at dusk, and the wide reflective strips make you stand out in vehicle lights from all directions. The front hook-and-loop fastening makes it quick to put on, even when wearing gloves.
The vest is designed to maintain an unbroken reflective profile from the front, back and sides. The materials and care instructions have been chosen to preserve the reflective and fluorescent properties throughout its life when the washing and care instructions are followed. The product is intended for situations where visibility is a key safety factor: construction sites, logistics and warehouse environments, maintenance, traffic control and emergency equipment for vehicles.
The vest meets the requirements of PPE category II, and its conformity has been verified in an assessment by a notified body (NB 0197). The model-specific EU declaration of conformity is available in the manufacturer’s documentation.
Intended use:
-
Construction sites and traffic areas: The class 2 rating gives the required level of visibility in most roadwork and construction site conditions. The fluorescent fabric improves visibility in daylight, and the reflective strips ensure visibility in vehicle lights in the dark.
-
Warehouses, terminals and logistics: Improves visibility around forklift traffic and in loading areas. The hook-and-loop fastening makes it faster to put on and take off when moving from one task to another.
-
Property maintenance and upkeep: Suitable for indoor and outdoor work where background noise and vehicle traffic increase the risks. The placement of the reflective strips keeps you visible in different working positions.
-
Emergency and equipment use in vehicles: Handy to keep in cars and vans for unexpected stops; keeps you visible at the roadside too.
