Description
Vorel refuse sack LDPE is a refuse sack on a roll made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). This material makes the sack characteristically flexible and gives it good tear strength. The sack is designed for handling and transporting many kinds of waste, such as mixed, property and light construction waste, in various places.
Thanks to the LDPE material, the sack stretches considerably before tearing, which improves its durability when handling angular and heavier waste compared with stiffer, more brittle plastic grades. The sack is suitable for use as a liner for large waste containers or on its own for independent waste collection, preventing odours and liquids from spreading into the surroundings.
This product is supplied on a practical roll, and the sacks are separated from each other by clear perforation, which makes it easier to detach single sacks for use. The bottom of the bag is sealed tightly, ensuring structural integrity under load. The product is available as part of a wider range with different capacity and thickness options for different needs.
Intended use:
- Waste management: Designed for general waste collection in properties, industry, warehouses and construction sites. The strong LDPE material allows safe handling of heavier and more varied waste, such as packaging waste and cleaning waste.
- Lining waste containers: Can be used as a protective bag for large rectangular or round waste containers and bins. The liner keeps the container itself cleaner, reduces the need for washing and makes emptying easier.
Package contents:
- 1 x roll of Vorel refuse sacks LDPE (quantity varies by variant).
Features:
- LDPE material: Low-density polyethylene offers excellent flexibility and tear strength.
- Flexibility: The sack stretches under load, which prevents sudden tearing from sharp corners.
- Roll form: Makes storage and dispensing sacks at the point of use easier.
- Perforation: The sacks are easy to detach from the roll thanks to a neat tear line.
- Tight bottom seal: Prevents liquids leaking from the bottom of the sack.
- Colour: The black colour hides the contents of the sack.

Vorel refuse sack LDPE instructions for use:
Take the roll of refuse sacks and detach one sack by tearing it carefully along the perforation. Open the sack fully and place it in the waste container so that the mouth of the sack folds over the edges of the container. Make sure the bottom of the sack reaches the bottom of the container without leaving empty space. When the sack is full, gather the mouth together, tie it tightly and lift the sack out of the container. Take the full sack to an appropriate waste collection point. Store the roll in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Warnings:
- Suffocation hazard: Always keep plastic bags out of the reach of babies and children. Do not use the bag in cribs, beds, prams or playpens.
- Sharp objects: Although LDPE is tough, very sharp objects (such as glass shards or metal edges) can puncture the sack. Handle such waste with care.
- Heat: Do not put hot ash or other hot materials in the sack, as the plastic melts and can catch fire.
- Liquids: Do not fill the sack with liquids alone; the seam is tight, but the sack is not designed as a liquid container.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
- What is the difference between LDPE and HDPE refuse sacks?: LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) is more flexible and tougher, and it stretches before tearing, which makes it good for sharper waste. HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is stiffer and crinkly, and it withstands weight well but tears more easily once punctured.
- Does the bag have a drawstring?: No, this model is a traditional refuse bag without a separate drawstring. The bag is closed by tying its mouth.
- Is this sack suitable for construction waste?: Yes, the LDPE sack is suitable for light, flexible construction waste (such as insulation, plastics). For very heavy or spiky heavy construction waste, specially reinforced refuse sacks are recommended.
Recycling instructions:
The packaging material of the product (often plastic wrap or cardboard) should be recycled according to local instructions in either plastic collection or cardboard collection. The refuse sack itself is intended for transporting waste, and it ends up in the waste management process with the waste (usually as energy waste or mixed waste). Clean, unused sacks can be sorted for plastic collection (PE-LD 04).
