Description
The Vorel 20 m levelling hose is a reliable, precise tool designed especially for measuring levels and height differences in construction projects. This 20-metre hose is made of durable, flexible plastic that withstands wear and long-term use. The levelling hose has two transparent water gauges that allow the level to be determined precisely and ensure reliable measurements. The diameter of the hose is 10 mm, which makes it easy to use and flexible for different measuring needs.
The Vorel levelling hose is very well suited to construction and renovation projects that need precise level measurements. With it, you can quickly and easily make sure that structures such as foundations, walls and floors are level with each other. This makes it an ideal tool for professionals and hobbyists alike who need reliable, precise measuring tools.
Features
- Length: 20 metres
- Material: Durable, flexible PVC plastic
- Diameter: 10 mm
- Gauges: Two transparent water gauges
- Applications: For measuring levels and height differences
Instructions for use
- Fill the levelling hose with water, making sure no air bubbles are left inside. Attach the level gauges to the ends of the hose
- Place the ends of the hose at the points to be measured.
- Read the measurement results from the gauges at the ends of the hose.
Choosing the right levelling hose
There are three absolutes in construction work: plumb, level and exact measurement. Plumb is measured with a plumb line. Level is achieved with a spirit level and a levelling hose. Getting an exact measurement needs a precise rule or tape measure, but also precise work. Mechanical tools such as the levelling hose use gravity and are easy to use and inexpensive.
Laser meters, on the other hand, are based on a laser beam that allows distances to be measured quickly and precisely. Laser distance meters have practically replaced tape measures, as they offer fast, precise measurement and can be used alone. Laser meters can also perform calculations, such as working out area and volume, which makes them versatile tools.
The advantage of the levelling hose is its simplicity and accuracy compared with electronic levels, which can be more expensive and complicated to use. The result given by laser meters is uncertain if they cannot be set level. Despite all the technology, the old levelling hose holds its own, because a laser beam does not easily reach round a corner or behind a wall.
Warnings
Keep the hose away from sharp objects and avoid kinking it hard, to avoid damaging the hose.
