Description
The Kapro Genesis spirit level (789P) is a precision level designed for fast, reliable levelling in construction and installation work. The VPA-certified, fixed acrylic vials are epoxy-locked and impact-resistant, which supports repeatable measurements in demanding conditions. The level vial is enlarged and has slope lines up to 2%, which makes it easier to measure small falls without separate aids.
Vertical measurement on the Genesis is assured by the patented Plumb Site® Dual-View™ solution. It lets you read the plumb vial straight from the front without turning your head, which reduces parallax errors and speeds up work even in tight positions. The solution improves the reliability of vertical measurement, especially in installations where the item is to the side of your eyes.

Kapro Genesis spirit level instructions for use:

Before use: Check that the base and the measuring surface are free of dust and debris. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Make sure the vials are intact and the bubbles move freely.

Levelling horizontally: Place the spirit level on the surface to be measured. Adjust the position until the bubble settles between the two lines of the vial. Use the 0–2% slope lines if you are aiming for a specific fall.

Checking plumb: Place the spirit level against the side of the item. Read the plumb vial straight from the front through the Plumb Site® Dual-View™ window. Adjust the item until the bubble is in the centre.

Checking accuracy (flip test): Place the spirit level on a surface, mark the position of the bubble, turn the spirit level 180° in the same place and check that the bubble settles at the same centre point. A deviation indicates a need for calibration.

Maintenance: Wipe the body and vials with a soft cloth after use. Avoid solvents, which can dull the acrylic. Check from time to time that the end guards are intact and the vials secure. Store dry, protected from direct sunlight.

Storage and transport: Transport the tool protected from knocks. Do not store it under heavy objects. For long-term storage, keep the tool horizontal so that the vials are not loaded unevenly.
