Description
Yato cordless impact wrench 2000 Nm 4 Ah (YT-828075) is a brushless 18 V cordless impact wrench with a 3/4″ (19.0 mm) square drive, supplied with a 4.0 Ah Li-Ion battery and a fast charger. The maximum torque is 2000 Nm, enough to loosen even tight and rusted bolts and nuts up to size M41 . The wrench is ready to use as soon as the battery is charged.
The wrench has two speed ranges: 0–1200 min⁻¹ and 0–1650 min⁻¹, and the impact rate is 2200 impacts/min. The speed range is selected with the function button on the base control panel (HIGH SPEED / LOW SPEED), and the depth to which the trigger is pressed adjusts the speed steplessly. Anticlockwise rotation offers an intermittent AUTO STOP mode, intended for loosening nuts and bolts.
The battery capacity is 4000 mAh, and the charging time is about 2 h with the charger, which has an output of 21.4 V DC and 2.4 A. In addition to the brushless motor, the features include a spindle brake, a direction switch, a battery charge indicator and an LED work light. When tightening, the overload clutch disengages the square drive once the maximum torque is reached.
The package includes a 3/4″–1/2″ adapter, which also lets you fit 1/2″ impact sockets to the wrench; use CrMo impact sockets to transfer full torque. The wrench weighs 3.8 kg, with insulation class III and its IP rating is IPX0. The declared sound pressure level is 73.0 ± 5.0 dB(A) and the vibration value 9.00 ± 1.5 m/s².
Uses and suitability:
The wrench is designed for loosening and tightening high-torque threaded joints in vehicle and machine maintenance. For jobs that need even more torque, choose the Yato cordless impact wrench 18V 2400Nm + 6 Ah battery and charger, and if you already own Yato 18 V batteries, you can choose the body-only model Yato cordless impact wrench 18V 2400Nm, body only.
- Car workshops: loosening and tightening wheel nuts and chassis bolts; the 2000 Nm breakaway torque is enough even for rusted joints.
- Van and truck repair: handling large bolts and nuts with 3/4″ impact sockets without compressed air or mains power.
- Construction and agricultural machinery: loosening mounting bolts in the field up to size M41; the battery and charger let you work right at the machine.
- New Yato 18 V users: the set includes a battery and charger that also fit other Yato 18 V cordless tools.
Package contents:
- Yato cordless impact wrench 18 V 3/4″ 2000 Nm
- Adapter 3/4″ → 1/2″
- Yato 18 V Li-Ion battery 4.0 Ah
- Charger
Features:
- Brushless motor: no replaceable carbon brushes; the motor runs on a Yato 18 V Li-Ion battery.
- Two speed ranges: 0–1200 and 0–1650 min⁻¹, selected with the HIGH SPEED / LOW SPEED button on the control panel in clockwise rotation; the lower speed gives lower torque and the higher speed gives higher torque.
- AUTO STOP mode: in anticlockwise rotation, each press of the trigger turns the fastener only for a short period; the mode is intended for loosening nuts and bolts.
- Variable speed control: how far the trigger is pressed determines the speed and torque.
- Overload clutch: disengages the square drive once the maximum torque is reached.
- 4.0 Ah battery and fast charging: the 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery charges in about 2 hours with the included charger.
- 3/4″ square drive and 1/2″ adapter: fits 3/4″ impact sockets and, with the adapter, 1/2″ impact sockets.

Yato cordless impact wrench 2000 Nm 4 Ah user instructions:
Read the entire user manual before first use. Charge the battery fully before first use; always remove the battery before changing a socket or adapter.
- Charging: place the battery in the charger and plug the charger into a 220–240 V socket; the charging time of the 4.0 Ah battery is about 2 h.
- Choosing the socket: choose an impact socket that fits the part to be loosened or tightened and attach it to the square drive (1/2″ sockets via the adapter).
- Direction of rotation and speed range: select the direction with the direction switch and attach the battery to the base. In clockwise rotation, select HIGH SPEED or LOW SPEED with the function button on the control panel; in anticlockwise rotation, the button switches AUTO STOP mode on or off.
- Starting: screw the nut or bolt onto the thread by hand at least two turns, place the socket over the nut or bolt head and grip the wrench with both hands.
- Tightening and loosening: press the trigger; the further it is pressed, the higher the speed. When the impact mechanism starts hammering and the joint is tight, release the trigger, because continued tightening can damage threads and fasteners.
- Finishing and maintenance: remove the battery and clean the housing and ventilation openings with a dry cloth, a brush or compressed air of max. 0.3 MPa without chemicals. Faults are repaired by an authorised service centre with original spare parts.
Warnings:
- Protective equipment: wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
- Grip: hold the wrench with both hands; the 2000 Nm reaction torque can twist the tool in your hand.
- Sockets: use only sockets designed for impact use; ordinary hand tool sockets can crack.
- Accessories: the wrench must not be used to drive other attachments.
- Overload: take breaks; the outer surface temperature must not exceed 60 °C.
- Accidental starting: remove the battery before changing the socket, making adjustments, maintenance and storage.
- Charger: charge the battery only with the included charger indoors in a dry place; do not cover the charger while charging.
- Moisture: IP rating IPX0, so protect the wrench, battery and charger from rain and moisture.
- Children: keep the wrench, battery and charger out of the reach of children.
