Description
Yato cordless impact wrench set 700 Nm (YT-82807) is a 21-piece 18 V impact wrench set in a carrying bag. The set includes a brushless 1/2″ (12.7 mm) cordless impact wrench YT-828061 with a maximum torque of 700 Nm, two 3.0 Ah Li-Ion batteries, a fast charger, 16 CrMo impact sockets and an impact extension. The set is designed especially for wheel changing and vehicle fastening work.
The wrench has two torque stages, 350 Nm and 700 Nm, and two speed ranges 0–2000 and 0–2600 min⁻¹. The impact rate is 0–5000 impacts/min, and the tangential impact mechanism activates when tightening and loosening. The start switch adjusts the speed steplessly, and when rotating anticlockwise a pulsed operating mode is available for loosening nuts.
The set includes three plastic-protected 17, 19 and 21 mm alloy wheel sockets (height 87 mm) and thirteen black 12–24 mm impact sockets (height 38 mm). The plastic sleeve prevents the alloy wheel surface from being scratched when tightening the wheel nut, and the colour codes of the sockets (blue, gold, red) make it easier to identify the size.
The batteries have a 4-stage charge level indicator and cell overheating protection, and the fast charger charges a 3.0 Ah battery in about 1.5 hours. The wrench weighs 1.8 kg, with insulation class III and its IP rating is IPX0. The declared sound pressure level is 86.0 ± 3.0 dB(A) and the vibration value 7.58 ± 1.5 m/s².
Uses and suitability:
The set is designed for wheel changing on cars and vans and for bolted joints on vehicles and machines. For applications requiring more torque, a suitable choice is the Yato cordless impact wrench 18V 2400Nm + 6 Ah battery and charger; with Yato 18 V batteries you already have, a more powerful alternative is the Yato cordless impact wrench 18V 850Nm, body only.
- Seasonal wheel changing: loosening and tightening wheel nuts with the plastic-protected 17, 19 and 21 mm sockets without scratching alloy wheels.
- Workshops and service vans: bolted joints in the chassis and brackets with 12–24 mm impact sockets; the impact extension makes tight spots easier.
- Machine maintenance and installation work: the 700 Nm torque is enough for common bolted joints on agricultural and construction machinery and steel structures.
- Mobile work: two 3.0 Ah batteries and a fast charger allow uninterrupted work without mains power.

Yato cordless impact wrench set 700 Nm user manual:
Read the entire user manual before first use. Always change the socket or adapter with the battery removed.
- Charging: insert the battery into the fast charger and plug the charger into a socket; the red indicator light is lit during charging and the green one when the battery is full. The battery charge level can be checked with the button on the battery.
- Choosing the socket: choose a 1/2″ impact socket that fits the part to be loosened or tightened and fit it to the square drive (wheel nuts on alloy wheels with the plastic-protected sockets).
- Direction of rotation and stage: select the direction with the reversing switch and insert the battery into the base. For clockwise rotation, select 350 Nm or 700 Nm with the control panel button; for anticlockwise rotation, select continuous or pulsed mode.
- Starting: screw the nut or bolt onto the thread by hand at least two turns, place the socket over the nut or bolt head and grip the wrench with both hands.
- Tightening and loosening: press the start switch; the further the switch is pressed, the higher the speed. When the impact mechanism starts hammering and the joint is tight, release the switch. Final tightening of wheel nuts is done with a torque wrench to the vehicle manufacturer’s value.
- Finishing and maintenance: remove the battery and clean the housing and ventilation openings with a dry cloth, a brush or compressed air of max. 0.3 MPa without chemicals. Faults are repaired by an authorised service centre with original spare parts.
Warnings:
- Protective equipment: wear safety glasses, hearing protection and protective gloves.
- Grip: hold the wrench with both hands by its insulated gripping surfaces; the fastener may hit a hidden electrical wire.
- Sockets: use only sockets designed for impact use; ordinary hand tool sockets can crack.
- Wheel nuts: do not tighten wheel nuts to full torque with the impact wrench alone; check the tightening with a torque wrench.
- Overload: take breaks; the outer surface temperature must not exceed 60 °C.
- Accidental starting: remove the battery before changing the socket, making adjustments, maintenance and storage.
- Battery: do not use a damaged battery and do not short-circuit its terminals.
- Charger: charge the batteries only with the supplied charger in a dry indoor space; unplug the charger after charging.
- Children: store the wrench, batteries, charger and sockets out of the reach of children.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
What does the Yato cordless impact wrench set 700 Nm include?
The set has 21 pieces: cordless impact wrench YT-828061, two 3.0 Ah batteries, a fast charger, three alloy wheel sockets (17, 19, 21 mm), thirteen impact sockets (12–24 mm), an impact extension and a carrying bag.
Is 700 Nm enough for changing wheels?
Yes, for loosening and tightening wheel nuts on cars and vans; the 350 Nm stage limits the tightening torque, and final tightening is checked with a torque wrench.
Why do the alloy wheel sockets have a plastic sleeve?
The sleeve prevents the socket from scratching the alloy wheel surface around the nut, and the colour code makes it easier to identify the size.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
The fast charger charges a 3.0 Ah battery in about 1.5 hours.
Do the batteries fit other Yato tools?
Yes, the batteries are slide-on batteries from the Yato 18 V Li-Ion range.
Recycling instructions:
The wrench and charger in the Yato cordless impact wrench set 700 Nm are electrical and electronic equipment that must not be disposed of with mixed waste: take discarded equipment to a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Take Li-Ion batteries to a battery collection point; tape the battery contacts before transport to prevent short circuits. Steel sockets and the impact extension go to metal recycling, and the plastic bag and plastic parts to plastic recycling.
