Description
The Yato YT-72510 is a reflective warning tape developed for industrial marking, measuring 49 mm in width and 45.7 m in length. The tape is made of PVC plastic and has a total thickness of 0.43 mm. The surface uses a microcrystalline reflective structure (Crystal Lattice) that efficiently reflects the light beams of vehicles and site lights back towards the light source.
The visual pattern of the tape consists of red and white directional arrows. This standardised warning colouring improves the visibility of fixed obstacles and visually shows the required directions in traffic areas. The properties of the material allow installation on both straight and slightly curved surfaces while keeping the reflective surface intact.
The fixing is based on a strong adhesive layer formulated to stick to smooth metal, plastic and painted surfaces. Once applied, the tape withstands temperature variations between -10 °C and +60 °C, which allows the tape to be installed in industrial halls, cold stores and outdoor infrastructure.
The 45.7 metre length supplied on one roll is enough for continuous, unbroken marking of large areas. The product is suitable for marking warehouse columns, rack corners, loading docks, gates and the outlines of heavy vehicles, among other things, to improve occupational safety.
Intended use and suitability:
The main industrial and professional applications of the product, where reflectivity and the arrow pattern are critical factors, are listed below.
- Industrial properties and warehouses: The tape is used to mark columns, rack ends and loading dock edges along forklift routes. The red and white pattern improves the visibility of obstacles and reduces the risk of collisions in internal logistics.
- Vehicles and work machines: Suitable for fitting to the rear and sides of lorries, trailers, forklifts and lifts. The tape improves the visibility of work machines in poor lighting and in outdoor traffic.
- Infrastructure and outdoor areas: Marking the edges of gates, barriers, fences and stairs. The arrow pattern lets you direct the flow of traffic in areas where pedestrian and vehicle traffic cross.
Package contents:
Components included in the standard delivery:
- Yato YT-72510 reflective warning tape: 1 roll, length 45.7 m, width 49 mm.
Features:
The main functional features of the tape are listed below.
- Reflectivity: The microcrystalline structure returns light rays in a targeted way, which significantly increases the visibility of the marking within the range of headlights.
- Arrow pattern: The red and white directional arrow warns of danger and lets you give direction visually without text signs.
- Flexible PVC material: Prevents the tape cracking and tearing when it is applied to slightly rounded shapes or over corners.
- Wide temperature resistance: Keeps its adhesion and reflective properties in the temperature range -10 °C … +60 °C.

Yato YT-72510 instructions for use:
1. Make sure the mounting surface is completely dry, clean and free of grease. Pre-treat the surface with industrial alcohol or a degreaser to ensure the best adhesion.
2. Cut a piece of tape of suitable length with scissors or a snap-off knife. When cutting, note the direction of the red and white arrow pattern in relation to the purpose of the marking.
3. Peel the backing paper off the tape for about 10-15 cm of its length. Align the tape on the mounting surface and press it on lightly. Pull the backing paper off slowly while smoothing the tape against the surface to prevent air bubbles.
4. Finish the installation by pressing the tape firmly onto the surface with a soft squeegee or pressure roller. The recommended installation temperature is at least +10 °C for optimal adhesion.
Warnings:
Limitations relating to the fixing and durability of the product.
- Limitations of mounting surfaces: The tensile strength of the adhesive weakens significantly if the tape is applied to porous, heavily textured, rusty or crumbling surfaces (such as untreated concrete).
- Mechanical load: The PVC film of the tape does not withstand cuts from sharp objects or direct, continuous abrasion, which can destroy the reflective structure.
- Low installation temperature: Avoid installing the tape at temperatures below 0 °C because the initial tack of the adhesive is very weak in freezing temperatures.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
- In which direction should the red and white arrow pattern of the tape be fitted on obstacles?
The arrow tips should point in the direction in which vehicle or pedestrian traffic is to be guided past the obstacle. If the aim is only to mark out a static object (such as a column) without guiding direction, the direction can be chosen according to the visual symmetry of the object. - Can this reflective PVC tape be used as warehouse floor tape?
Not recommended directly under forklift or pallet truck traffic. Mechanical pressure and friction from the wheels can break the microcrystalline reflective surface and damage the PVC layer. For floor use, the product needs a separate protective film on top that withstands mechanical stress. - How can damaged reflective tape be removed from the mounting surface without leaving marks?
The tape comes off best when warmed lightly with a hot air gun, which softens the adhesive. Pull the tape off with a slow, even movement. Any adhesive residue on the mounting surface must be removed with an industrial citrus cleaner or adhesive remover.
Recycling instructions:
Sorting instructions by material:
- Product: Used PVC warning tape contains plastic and adhesive compounds. It must be sorted into energy waste or mixed waste in accordance with local regulations. Do not put the product in plastic packaging collection.
- Packaging: Any cardboard cores go to cardboard collection. The protective plastic of the tape roll goes to plastic packaging collection.
