Description
The Idealgas 50 mm LPG burner is designed for demanding professional use and gives excellent performance and reliability in heavy heating work. This Italian-made tool meets the strict EN ISO 9021 standards, which guarantees its safety and suitability for industrial and construction environments. Every unit is tested individually during manufacture to ensure high reliability. The sturdy construction withstands the strain of site conditions.
At the core of the burner is a powerful 50 mm diameter burner head that produces up to 53 kW of heat output at a nominal pressure of 3 bar. This high output class makes it an ideal tool for fast heating of large surfaces and for melting or drying materials. The device is designed to work with both butane and propane gas, but for the best possible performance and efficiency the manufacturer recommends propane, especially in colder conditions.
Ease of use and reliability are central to this Idealgas burner. Output and flame size are controlled directly with a durable flame selector tap (rotary valve) next to the handle. This allows precise, stepless adjustment of the flame to suit the job, from a small heating flame all the way up to the full 53 kW maximum output. The simple, sturdy design without complex trigger mechanisms guarantees a long service life even in heavy use.
The product comes as a complete set, ready to connect to the gas system. The package includes a 1.5-metre rubber gas hose approved under the laws of the countries of import. The burner and hose have standard-size 3/8″ threaded connectors, which ensures wide compatibility with the most common industrial connections and pressure reducers. Longer 5 or 10-metre hoses are also available separately for the burner if the working area needs a longer reach.
Intended use:
This high-output LPG burner is designed primarily for B2B professionals, for a range of heating needs in industry, construction and maintenance.
- Roofing and waterproofing: The burner is excellent for heating and welding bitumen membranes and roofing felt. The 50 mm wide flame head and high 53 kW output allow fast, even treatment of even large roof areas, ensuring the bitumen melts and adheres properly.
- Drying and thawing structures: On construction sites, the device is used for efficient drying of concrete structures, formwork or damp surfaces before coating. In winter conditions it is an irreplaceable aid for quickly thawing frozen pipes, wells, soil or machine parts.
- Industrial preheating: In the metal industry and engineering workshops, the burner is used to preheat workpieces before welding, bending or other heat treatment. The powerful flame quickly raises the metal temperature to the required level, reducing thermal stresses and improving weld quality.
- Large-scale weed control: In property maintenance and agriculture, the powerful burner is suitable for thermal weed control on large yard areas, paths or field edges without chemicals. The high output quickly destroys the cell structure of the vegetation.

Idealgas LPG burner instructions for use:
Follow these instructions to ensure safe and efficient use. Before use, always make sure all connections are tight and the hose is intact. Use only an approved pressure reducer that delivers the right pressure for the burner (nominal pressure 3 bar).
Lighting and flame adjustment:
- Connect the burner and hose to the gas cylinder’s pressure regulator and check that the connections are tight.
- Make sure the flame selector tap in the burner handle is closed (turned to the closed position). Open the main valve of the gas cylinder.
- Open the burner’s flame selector tap slightly and light the gas at the burner head with a safe lighter.
- Set the flame to the level you want by opening or closing the flame selector tap steplessly.
- After use, always close the main valve of the gas cylinder first and let the gas in the hose burn off. Finally close the burner’s own valve.
Warnings:
- Fire hazard: The burner produces a very high temperature. Never point the flame at people, animals or easily flammable materials. Make sure the work area is fire-safe and keep extinguishing equipment close by.
- Gas hazard: Use only outdoors or in very well-ventilated indoor spaces. LPG is heavier than air and can collect in low spots, causing a risk of explosion.
- Hot surfaces: The burner head and the nearby metal parts get very hot during use and stay hot for a long time afterwards. Wear protective gloves and let the device cool completely before storing it.
- Condition of the device: Check the hose regularly for cracks, wear or leaks. A damaged hose must be replaced immediately with a new, approved hose. Never use a faulty device.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
What gas should be used in the burner?
The burner works with both butane and propane. We recommend propane to reach the best possible 53 kW output and performance, especially in cooler conditions.
Can I use a longer hose than the 1.5m one supplied?
Yes, a longer hose can be connected to the burner, provided it is approved for LPG use and has suitable 3/8″ connectors. 5m and 10m hoses are also commonly available.
How is the flame output adjusted on this model?
On this model, the flame output is adjusted manually and steplessly with the rotary valve (tap) in the handle. This lets you choose the flame size precisely for the job.
Do I need a separate pressure reducer?
Yes, the burner needs the right pressure to work (nominal pressure 3 bar). It must be connected to the gas cylinder through a suitable adjustable or fixed high-pressure regulator.
Recycling instructions:
At the end of the product’s life, make sure it is recycled properly in line with local waste management regulations.
- Burner part: Mainly metal; can be recycled through metal collection once any plastic parts have been removed.
- Hose: Rubber gas hoses are usually disposed of as mixed waste or energy waste; check local guidance.
- Packaging: Sort the packaging materials (cardboard, plastic) into the bins intended for them.
