As the name suggests, glass and tile drill bits are designed for drilling glass and tiles. Thanks to its sharp carbide tip, the bit cuts neat, round holes with very little chipping in glass, tiles or wall tiles. A glass drill bit can be used to drill holes in bathroom tiles for holders, for example. That way the position of the holder does not have to be decided by where the joints are.
Note! Not suitable for use on toughened glass or porcelain.
