Description
The Painter paint roller Ø16 mm 10 mm nylon is a very small paint roller designed for painting tasks that call for extreme precision. This mini roller, also known as a touch-up roller, is the perfect tool for treating narrow surfaces, corners, details and hard-to-reach places. Its durable nylon fibre withstands solvents well, which makes it an excellent choice for oil-based paints and varnishes.
The 10 mm pile length of the roller is optimal for painting semi-smooth surfaces. It absorbs enough product and releases it evenly, leaving a smooth, professional result without too much texture. The nylon fibre keeps its shape well and helps achieve a precise, neat paint surface.
The Painter paint roller Ø16 mm 10 mm nylon is compatible with standard 6mm mini roller frames, which makes it a flexible, easy-to-use addition to your painting kit. It is an ideal choice for painting and varnishing furniture, window frames, mouldings, panels and other small items.

Painter paint roller Ø16 mm 10 mm nylon instructions for use:
Stir the paint/varnish well before use. Dip the roller fully, but remove the excess product by rolling it in the roller tray or on a separate grid. Roll onto the surface with even, overlapping strokes. Do not press too hard. Clean the roller immediately after use with a suitable solvent (such as white spirit or brush cleaner). After washing with solvent, remove the remaining product with water and soap. Rinse well and let it dry.
Warnings:
Always follow the safety instructions of the paint/varnish manufacturer. Make sure there is enough ventilation when using solvents. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses if needed. Avoid leaving the roller to dry with product in it.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Is nylon better than polyester for oil paints?
Nylon is often more resistant to solvents and keeps its shape better, which helps achieve an even surface, but both can work. Nylon is usually the recommended choice for more demanding oil painting.
Is a 10 mm pile suitable for smooth mouldings?
A 10 mm pile is slightly thicker and can leave a little texture. For smooth mouldings, a shorter pile (e.g. 5-7 mm) or a foam roller may be better, but 10 mm also works depending on the result you want.
Recycling instructions:
The roller core is plastic and can be sorted into plastic collection if it has been cleaned. The pile fabric (dirty) is sorted as mixed waste. Packaging (e.g. cardboard/plastic) is sorted accordingly.
