Description
The high-quality Painter microfibre paint roller is designed to give a flawless result in large painting projects on all types of surface, from smooth to rough. The medium-length 15 millimetre microfibre pile of the roller is exceptionally absorbent, which reduces the need to keep dipping the roller in paint and speeds up the work considerably. The flexible microfibres release paint evenly onto the surface and cover small unevenness effectively.
Durability is ensured by an advanced thermofusion method, in which the roller fabric is melted onto the plastic core without adhesive. This creates a seamless construction that withstands aggressive solvents, extends the life of the roller and ensures that the pile does not come loose in the middle of painting.
The bevelled edges of the roller prevent thick paint edges and annoying roller marks forming, which ensures an even, line-free and professional finish with every stroke.
This roller is compatible with standard 8 mm push-in roller frames.

Painter WKL1031 instructions for use:
Use the roller with an 8 mm push-in roller frame. Before first use, it is recommended to brush the roller lightly or roll it on tape to remove any loose fibres. Dip the roller carefully in the paint and make sure the 15 mm pile is evenly loaded. Roll off the excess paint on the grid of the paint tray or against a roller board to avoid spatter.
Apply the paint with even strokes. Thanks to the bevelled edges, you can overlap roller strokes smoothly. Clean the roller immediately after use. Water-based paints are washed out with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. When using solvent-based paints, follow the thinner and cleaning agent recommended by the paint manufacturer.
Warnings:
Keep out of the reach of children. When using solvent-based paints or thinners, make sure the work area is well ventilated and wear suitable protective equipment (e.g. safety glasses, protective gloves). Do not store the roller in direct contact with sharp objects or open flames.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
What is the advantage of a microfibre roller?
A microfibre roller has an exceptional ability to absorb and release paint evenly, which makes work faster and leaves a smoother, more even result than conventional fabrics. The fibres are thin and flexible, which prevents spatter and gives a flawless finish.
Why are bevelled edges important?
Bevelled edges stop the edges of the roller leaving thick paint marks or lines on the painted surface, which ensures a seamless, professional result.
Does this roller withstand solvents?
Yes, a roller made with the thermofusion method is seamless and adhesive-free, which makes it resistant to most solvents, emulsions and latexes without the pile coming loose.
How do I store the roller between painting sessions?
If you are painting with the same colour the next day, you can wrap the roller in an airtight plastic bag or use a special roller storage container to stop it drying out. Clean the roller thoroughly as soon as the project is finished.
Recycling instructions:
A completely empty and dry roller (e.g. with dried paint, into mixed waste) can be sorted according to waste regulations. If the roller has been used with hazardous chemicals (e.g. certain solvents), it must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Packaging plastic is sorted into plastic collection.
