Description
The Yato cordless inflator YT-82895 is a cordless air pump for inflating tyres and other inflatable items. The operating voltage is 18 V DC and the rated pressure is 1.04 MPa, i.e. 10.4 bar (150 PSI).
The output is 14 l/min and the hose is 50 cm long. The free end of the hose screws directly onto a car tyre valve, or you can attach the supplied adapter to it. Holders on top of the body keep the hose and adapter in place during transport.
The body has a dial pressure gauge that you watch while inflating. The switch is press-operated: the pump runs as long as the switch is held down, and inflation stops when the switch is released. The weight is 0.8 kg and the electrical protection class is III.
The Yato cordless inflator YT-82895 is a body-only version supplied without battery and charger. The pump uses Yato 18 V Li-Ion batteries, so the same battery fits other Yato 18 V tools. Batteries sold separately are 2 Ah (YT-828461), 3 Ah (YT-828462), 4 Ah (YT-828463) and 6 Ah (YT-828464). The set version with battery and charger is the Yato cordless inflator 18V 14 l/min + 2Ah battery and charger.
Intended use and suitability:
The pump is designed for inflating tyres as well as balls, mattresses and other inflatable products with compressed air. Battery power lets you work without mains electricity.
- Rated pressure 1.04 MPa: sufficient for car, motorcycle and bicycle tyres.
- Output 14 l/min: suitable for small and medium air volumes.
- 50 cm hose and adapter: screws onto a car tyre valve, or onto other valves via the adapter.
- Enclosure rating IP20: for use in dry conditions, not in the rain or in wet environments.
Package contents:
- Cordless inflator YT-82895
- Inflation hose 50 cm
- Hose adapter
Battery and charger are not included.
Features:
- Pressure gauge: dial for monitoring the pressure while inflating.
- Press-operated switch: the pump runs only while the switch is pressed, so inflation stops as soon as you release it.
- Swivel hose end: the end rotates independently of the hose, which stops the hose from twisting while you connect it.
- Hose and adapter holders: the parts travel with the pump.
- Lightweight body: weight 0.8 kg.
- Body-only version: used with your existing 18 V battery.
- 18 V battery system: the same battery fits other tools in the range.

Yato cordless inflator YT-82895 instructions for use:
Connecting the hose: Loosen the ring of the hose connector without unscrewing it completely. Push the male-threaded end of the hose into the connector as far as it will go and tighten the ring until you feel resistance. A hose that is not pushed in far enough can come loose during inflation.
Adapter: The free end of the hose screws onto a car tyre valve, or the adapter is screwed onto it. Tighten the end by hand as far as it will go; do not use a tool, because overtightening damages the valve, hose or seals.
Inflating: Connect the hose to the pump and to the item to be inflated, slide the battery into the base of the pump and make sure it locks. Press the switch and hold it down. Watch the pressure gauge needle and release the switch when the required pressure is reached. Remove the battery and then the hose; the short hiss you hear when disconnecting the hose is air escaping from the hose.
Charging the battery (Yato 18 V charger, purchased separately): Unplug the charger from the mains and clean the battery terminals with a soft dry cloth. Insert the battery into the charger slot and plug the charger into a socket. The red LED is on while charging; the green LED lights up when the battery is full. If the green LED lights up as soon as you connect the battery, it is already full and charging does not start.
Maintenance: Remove the battery before adjustment and maintenance. After use, check the condition of the body and handle, the operation of the switch and that the air intake openings are clean. Clean the body, openings and switch with compressed air at no more than 0.3 MPa, a brush or a dry cloth. Do not use chemicals, cleaning agents or sharp tools.
Battery storage: Store the battery at 0–30 °C and about 50% humidity. For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 70% and recharge it once a year.
Warnings:
- Do not exceed the maximum permitted pressure of the item being inflated. Excess pressure can burst the item and cause serious injury.
- Do not pump continuously for more than 5 minutes; let the device cool down for at least 5 minutes.
- Do not bend or twist the hose during use. Bending restricts the hose and can break it.
- Do not carry the device by the hose and do not pull the hose taut during use.
- Do not direct the airflow at yourself, other people or animals. Never check the airflow with a finger or any other part of the body.
- Do not use the device as a blow gun, as a resuscitator or for spraying substances.
- Remove the battery before connecting the hose to the pump.
- Check the device and hose before each use; cracks, abrasion and air leaks require repair or replacement of the part.
- Compare the reading of the device’s pressure gauge with a calibrated pressure gauge from time to time.

Recycling instructions:
At the end of their service life, take the pump and charger to a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), not to mixed waste. Remove the lithium-ion battery and take it to a battery collection point; tape over the terminals to prevent short circuits. Do not transport or use a damaged battery. Sort the cardboard packaging for cardboard recycling and the plastic parts for plastic recycling.
