Yato 18V cordless tools

Yato 18V cordless tools are battery-powered tools and garden machines that use the same Yato 18V Li-Ion battery. With one battery and charger you can run, for example, a drill, an angle grinder, a saw, a work light and a grass trimmer. The range is used in construction and renovation work, workshops, property maintenance, garden work and households.

Selection criteria

• One battery system: all Yato 18V machines use the same 18V battery, and the battery moves from one machine to another.
• Battery capacity: batteries come in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 Ah sizes. A small battery makes the machine lighter, while a large battery gives longer run time in heavy work.
• Body only or set: a body-only model is supplied without a battery and charger, while a set includes them.
• Motor: a brushless (BL) motor gives more run time per charge and wears less than a brushed motor.
• 2x18V machines: some high-power machines, such as chainsaws and lawn mowers, use two 18V batteries at the same time.
