Yato 18V tools are cordless power tools for construction, installation, workshop and renovation work. The group includes drills and drivers, rotary hammers, impact wrenches and ratchets, angle grinders, sanders, polishers, saws and multi-tools, cordless vacuums, lights and specialist tools, plus, for example, a cordless planer, a router, a fan and a site radio. All machines use the same Yato 18V battery.

Selection criteria

• Shared 18V battery: the same Yato 18V Li-Ion battery fits all tools and garden machines in the range.
• Battery size: batteries come in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 Ah sizes. A 2–3 Ah battery suits light machines, and a 4–9 Ah battery suits saws, angle grinders and rotary hammers.
• Body only or set: a body-only model is supplied without a battery and charger, while a set includes them.
• Brushless motor: a BL motor gives more run time per charge and stands up to heavy use.

Yes. All Yato 18V tools use the same 18V battery, so the battery moves from one machine to another.

What does body-only model mean?
A body-only model is the machine alone, without a battery and charger. It is the right choice when you already have a Yato 18V battery and charger.
