Description
The Yato digital soldering and hot air station is a versatile 2-in-1 soldering station that efficiently combines soldering and hot air in one unit.
The station’s soldering iron has an output of 75W and the hot air gun an output of 750W. The unit’s dual digital LED display, temperature control and many additional functions help you make precise solder joints. The station supports the 908D soldering iron, which is compatible with the popular 900M series interchangeable soldering tips, and a hot air gun with a brushless fan.
The Yato YT-82458 digital soldering and hot air station is fitted with ESD-safe technology, which ensures that no excess static electricity builds up in the unit’s housing. This feature is especially important when working with sensitive SMD circuits, as it significantly reduces the risk of damaging these components with static electricity. ESD-safe technology guarantees a safe working environment for electronics work, protecting both equipment and users.
This 2-in-1 soldering and hot air station heats up quickly, which allows efficient work. The soldering station reaches its working temperature of 350°C in about 15 seconds, while the hot air module heats up in about 10 seconds. The fast heat-up time means you can start work almost immediately, which makes the station ideal for busy workshops and fast-paced projects.
The airflow of the hot air gun can be adjusted with a stepless control. The 4 differently shaped nozzles supplied let you shape the hot air and direct it precisely to suit the shape of the object being heated. The gun’s maximum airflow is 120L/min

Uses and functions
- Suitable for many kinds of soldering and hot air work in electronics, metalwork and other professional uses.
- ESD-safe technology protects sensitive SMD circuits.
- Fast heat-up: soldering station in 15 seconds, hot air gun in 10 seconds.
- Automatic cooling and sleep mode when the hot air handle is placed in its holder
Temperature stabilisation function
This function lets the user maintain the preset temperature under the varying heat demands on the soldering tip to achieve a perfect solder joint, since the size of the tip and the area being soldered affect how much heat the tip gives off. Using the temperature sensor built into the tip, the unit continuously reads the actual value and compares it with the set temperature. As needed, it increases or reduces the power draw to keep the set temperature.
Sleep mode function
The sleep mode function lets the soldering station go into standby, which automatically lowers the working temperature to 200°C. This reduces unnecessary heating of the soldering iron, which significantly extends its service life. The YT-82458 model goes into sleep mode automatically after 10 minutes of user inactivity.
Automatic cooling function combined with sleep mode
The automatic cooling function of the hot air module cools the nozzle to 100°C and then switches to sleep mode. When the work is finished, the user should place the handle in the plastic holder, which has a built-in sensor trigger. The nozzle is then cooled and switches to sleep mode automatically. Lifting the handle out of the holder automatically activates the hot air module at the preset parameters.
Sensor fault detection function
This function provides automatic diagnostics of the unit’s electronic systems, which is essential for the unit to work properly. The soldering station runs a self-test when the power button is switched on and shows an error message if problems occur.
