The Yato cross-line laser 360 projects a green 360-degree horizontal line and one vertical line with an accuracy of ±3 mm / 10 m. The green wavelength of 510-530 nm gives better visibility in bright indoor conditions than conventional red lasers. The beam projects precise intersections on wall surfaces, so you can align complex, large installations and set level heights at the same time from a single point.
The self-levelling mechanism automatically compensates for deviations of ±3 degrees from horizontal, which prevents human setup errors and speeds up calibration in the changing conditions of a site. The mechanism includes a mechanical pendulum lock, used both for safe transport of the laser and for projecting manual sloping lines at specific installation angles. To start using the Yato cross-line laser 360, insert four AA batteries in the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity. Place the laser on a stable, flat surface or fit it to a separate stand using the thread in the base. Once the laser is in position, release the pendulum lock switch on the side by moving it to ON. This releases the self-levelling mechanism, and the laser projects the horizontal and vertical lines automatically level, provided the surface does not deviate by more than ±3 degrees.
Select the lines to project (horizontal 360°, vertical or both crossing) on the laser’s control panel according to the measuring task. If the laser beams flash after setup, the laser is outside the self-levelling range and its physical position must be corrected to be more level. When marking sloping lines, for example on stairs, keep the pendulum lock switch locked in the OFF position and switch on the lines in manual mode with the button. Always switch the laser off when you have finished and engage the pendulum lock before putting the laser in its protective bag.
Warnings:
- Risk of eye damage: The laser is a class 2 laser product (≤1 mW). Never look directly into the laser beam or point the beam at people, as exposure to the radiation can permanently damage your sight.

For outdoor use, working in shaded periods or using a compatible laser receiver is recommended for an accurate result over a large area. - How do I make sure the laser projects the lines perfectly level?
When the pendulum lock switch is in the open position (self-levelling mode), the laser levels itself automatically within ±3 degrees. If the laser is tilted more than this, the laser beams start flashing continuously as a sign that the plane is not level and the position of the laser must be corrected by hand. - Does the laser need regular service calibration?
The laser is factory-calibrated to an accuracy of ±3 mm / 10 m. It is advisable to check regularly that the calibration holds by taking a comparison measurement against a known fixed reference surface, especially if the laser has been exposed to heavy vibration or has been dropped. Recycling instructions:
The laser must not be disposed of with ordinary municipal waste because of the electronics, optics and laser diode it contains.
