Description
This double-ended marking instrument combines a thin hole pen and a traditional broad marker in the same mechanical body. The long, narrow, metal-reinforced tip at one end allows precise markings to be made through installation holes and deep structures. The opposite end of the device has a broader marking tip intended for visible markings on flat surfaces. This 2-in-1 design brings the two most common marking functions together in one tool.
The ink of the tool is chemically waterproof. This property keeps markings legible and permanent in damp conditions or in outdoor installations. The ink is designed to adhere reliably to almost all surface materials, which widens the uses of the pen in different industrial environments.
The body of the pen is cylindrical and symmetrical, and it has removable protective caps at both ends to prevent the ink drying out. A metal tube protecting the thinner marking end prevents mechanical wear of the tip when the tool is passed through rough drilled holes or metal installation brackets. Bleispitz marker’s yellow and black colouring guarantees high visual contrast, which makes the tool easier to spot in the working environment.
The pen works with liquid black ink that is fed directly to both tips by capillary action. The design is compact, optimised for storage in tool pockets. The solution makes mechanical installation work more efficient by seamlessly combining locating fixing points and drawing cutting lines in one physical unit.
Fits perfectly in the Bleispitz INK pocket holder (sold separately)
Intended use and suitability:
The marking tool is designed for a wide range of industrial and construction measuring and installation tasks.
- Marking installation holes: The long, metal-reinforced tip is pushed through the hole of a finished fixing, such as an angle bracket or equipment housing, to mark the drilling point on the background material.
- Cutting and shape markings on materials: The broad marker tip is used to draw clear, visible lines on wood, metal or plastic surfaces before cutting or machining.
- Outdoor installations: The waterproof ink formulation allows markings to be made on materials that are exposed to moisture or weather before final installation.
Package contents:
The standard pack contains the following components:
- 1 pc Bleispitz deep hole marker Duo marking tool.
- 2 pcs Protective caps (fitted on both ends of the tool).
Features:
The key technical features of the tool are listed below:
- Double-ended 2-in-1 design: Integrates deep hole marking and general marking in the same pen.
- Waterproof ink: Guarantees that markings last and withstand weather in damp conditions.
- Wide material compatibility: The ink forms a durable mark on almost all surface materials.
- Metal-reinforced deep tip: Withstands abrasion against holes and extends the life of the thin tip.

Bleispitz deep hole marker Duo instructions for use:
Optimal and technically correct use of the marking tool proceeds as follows:
1. Choosing the tip: Determine what the installation step needs. Use the narrow metal tip when the marking must be made through a hole or a narrow gap. Use the broad tip to draw surface lines.
2. Making the marking: Remove the protective cap from the chosen end. Place the tip at a 90-degree angle against the surface to be marked and press lightly to make sure the ink transfers to the material. For deep marking, push the metal tube all the way to the bottom of the hole.
3. Storage: Close the protective cap tightly immediately after marking. This cuts off contact with air and prevents the liquid ink evaporating or drying out of the tips.
Warnings:
Note the following technical limitations when using the device:
- Risk of drying out: Leaving the protective cap off leads to rapid evaporation of the ink and the tool becoming unusable.
- Permanent staining: The waterproof ink is difficult to remove from porous materials or textiles.
- Mechanical stress: The thin metal tip can bend if excessive sideways force is applied to it.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
Question: Does the ink of the Bleispitz Duo marker withstand water and moisture?
Answer: Yes, the ink in the device is waterproof, which makes it suitable for damp spaces and outdoor use.
Question: Which surfaces is the 2-in-1 hole marker suitable for?
Answer: The ink is formulated to adhere reliably to almost all industrial and construction surface materials.
Question: What is the primary technical function of the metal-reinforced tip?
Answer: The metal tube lets the pen reach through deep installation holes while protecting the thin ink tip from mechanical abrasion against the edges of the installation bracket.
Recycling instructions:
Proper disposal of the used marking tool:
- Body and caps: The plastic outer parts of the tool go to plastic collection if they are completely empty of ink.
- Tip and ink reservoir: A pen containing ink residue goes to mixed waste (combustible waste). The metal tip tube can be removed and taken to metal collection.
