Description
This articulated floor squeegee for professional use has an integrated hard rubber blade designed for moving heavy liquids and coarse dirt in industrial environments. The articulated neck lets you clean unobstructed under low bases and furniture while keeping the optimal 90-degree contact angle to the floor surface. The body of the product uses a steplessly adjustable clamping mechanism for the handle attachment.
The handle attachment of the floor squeegee is standardised to fit the most common handle types in the cleaning industry without separate threaded or quick connectors. The adjustable clamping sleeve locks mechanically onto ordinary non-threaded push-in handles and onto wooden broom handles of about 24 mm in diameter. This feature reduces the need for adapters and standardises existing cleaning equipment.
The hard rubber compound offers high friction and wear resistance on rough surfaces such as unground concrete floors and tiling. The closed-cell structure of hard rubber does not absorb liquids, particles or chemicals, which helps prevent cross-contamination between cleaning areas. The construction is compatible with the most common alkaline and acidic detergents used in professional cleaning.
The floor squeegee is integrated into the liquid management process in logistics and production facilities. The mechanical flexibility of the joint combined with the structural stiffness of the hard rubber ensures an even, undistorted distribution of pressure across the full width of the blade. This mechanism maximises the volume of liquid moved with each stroke without deforming the blade.
Intended use and suitability:
The articulated hard rubber squeegee is optimised for sites where large volumes of liquid are handled repeatedly or where the floor profile is uneven. The joint lets you steer the blade around obstacles without changing the position of the handle.
- Industrial halls and engineering workshops: Hard rubber tolerates rough floor surfaces and efficiently moves cutting fluids, water and industrial dirt without the blade tearing mechanically. The joint lets you reach under machine tools.
- Commercial kitchens and food production: The water-repellent hard rubber material supports targeted hygiene standards, because it can be cleaned quickly just by rinsing. The tool moves heavy wash water quickly to floor drains between processes.
- Heavy vehicle wash halls: The construction tolerates ordinary hydrocarbon and degreasing chemicals. The adjustable handle attachment ensures that the squeegee stays mechanically locked even under strong pushing when moving massive volumes of water.
Package contents:
The product is supplied as a loose part. The handle must be purchased separately.
- 1 x CI Professional articulated floor squeegee with hard rubber blade.
Features:
- Adjustable clamping mechanism: Allows the handle to be friction-locked to the squeegee, preventing the handle from coming loose or rotating during use.
- Articulated handle bracket: Provides 180 degrees of vertical movement, which allows unobstructed work under furniture and lowers the physical working height.
- Hard rubber blade: Provides high mechanical tensile strength and wear resistance on rough floor surfaces compared with porous cellular rubber blades.
- Handle compatibility: Directly supports wooden handles of about 24 mm and standard non-threaded push-in handles without separate connectors.
Technical specifications:
- Material (blade): Hard rubber

CI Professional floor squeegee instructions for use:
Follow these standardised fitting and maintenance steps to ensure mechanical integrity and an optimal cleaning result.
- Open the adjustable clamping sleeve on the body of the squeegee by turning the locking ring anticlockwise until the internal compression mechanism is fully open.
- Push the chosen handle (24 mm wooden handle or standard push-in handle) all the way to the bottom of the sleeve to ensure the maximum friction surface.
- Turn the locking ring clockwise until the mechanism locks the handle firmly in place and there is no axial play in the joint.
- Move the liquid by pulling or pushing it towards the floor drain. Use the articulated construction by lowering the handle to a shallow angle when passing under obstacles.
- Rinse the hard rubber blade with pressurised water immediately after use to remove impurities, particles and chemical residues.
Warnings:
Note the following mechanical limitations to avoid damage to the equipment.
- Do not overtighten the adjustment mechanism with tools; excessive torque can break the plastic threads or crush the structure of a wooden handle.
- Avoid using the product to move liquids hotter than 80 °C so that thermal expansion or softening of the plastic body and hard rubber does not compromise the structure.
- Make sure the handle is locked before moving heavy volumes of liquid, to ensure occupational safety.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
- How does the adjustable clamping mechanism respond to threaded cleaning handles?
The mechanism is designed for smooth push-in handles and 24 mm wooden handles. A threaded handle does not provide an optimal contact surface for the compression mechanism, which can cause the joint to loosen under dynamic stress. - What is the chemical resistance of a hard rubber blade compared with cellular rubber?
Hard rubber has a denser molecular structure, which makes it considerably more resistant to repeated exposure to ordinary cleaning chemicals and mild solvents. It also does not absorb liquids into its structure. - Can a worn blade part of the squeegee be replaced as a module?
No. The hard rubber blade of the squeegee is industrially integrated into the articulated body. When the edge of the blade wears mechanically beyond tolerances, the whole squeegee unit must be replaced with a new one.
Recycling instructions:
The materials of the product must be separated and disposed of in accordance with local waste management regulations.
- Product: Open the clamping mechanism and remove the handle. Unscrew the rubber part and the handle holder from the body. Recycle the body as metal and the holder as plastic.
