Description
Joint tape compound and taping tool for professional use. The taping tool applies the joint tape and the compound to plasterboard joints in one go. Can be used on walls, ceilings and inside corners for applying joint tape with compound.
Applying joint tape is a time-consuming, messy job. With this professional tool you can apply the tape with its compound to the wall quickly and easily. The 1.8L compound tank holds plenty of compound and also has a quick-fill feature. The tool spreads the joint tape and compound and presses the whole lot onto the plasterboard joint in a single pass. The best, fastest way to tape large numbers of plasterboard joints.
The tool can also be converted for left-handed use. An illustrated instruction manual is included.
Automatic joint tape feed works by placing the joint tape in the holder at the back of the tool. The joint tape is pulled through the compound housing of the machine and out of the front edge of the tool.
Automatic coating of the joint tape takes place as the joint tape passes through the compound tank. This puts exactly the right amount of compound on the tape for application.
Applying joint tape in inside corners is also possible with the corner guide of the tool. The guide presses the tape into a 90-degree angle along its centre, so the coated tape sits neatly in place.
Quick-fill feature in the base of the tool, through which the compound tank can be filled quickly.
Applications: Installing plaster and Gyproc joint tapes.
