Description

Mikov key tag 5 pcs with name label is a pack of key tags with five plastic-bodied key tags and metal key rings already attached to them. Each body has a writable paper label under a clear protective plastic cover, and the marking area measures 20 x 50 mm. The tags come in a colour assortment. The model designation is 406.

Identification works on two levels. The body colour tells key groups apart at a glance, for example by floor, department or vehicle. The text written on the label shows what the individual key is for: the door number, room name, holder or return time. The clear protective plastic keeps the label readable in a pocket and in a key cabinet, where paper would otherwise get dirty and worn.

The 20 x 50 mm marking area is enough for a short identifier or a number sequence. The label is removable, so the marking can be changed when the key’s use changes without replacing the whole key tag. The same body goes back into use with a new label.

1. Removing the label: Open the protective plastic on the body or pull the paper label out of its slot. Do not force the body to bend, as the plastic can break.

2. Marking: Write the identifier on the label in clear handwriting. Use a permanent marker or a pencil; soluble ink can stick to the protective plastic and smudge.

3. Fitting: Put the label back into the body with the text side against the protective plastic and make sure the cover closes completely.

4. Attaching the ring: Open the ring with a fingernail or gently with pliers, twist the key hole onto the ring and let the ring close completely. Pull to check that the key does not come off.

5. Changing the marking: When the key’s purpose changes, remove the label, turn it over or replace it with a new piece of paper of the same size.

Käyttötarkoitus

Lasten ja lemmikkien varoitukset

Käyttöohje ja turvatiedot

Toiminta ja suojatoimet

Ympäristöolosuhteet

Operation and protective measures

Protective measures: careful opening of the ring, checking the condition of the body, storage out of the reach of children and using a marking method that does not reveal the locked property.

Environmental conditions

Use and store in dry indoor spaces at room temperature. Splashing water does not damage the plastic body or the plastic cover, but when immersed in water the paper label gets wet and the text may run. Heat and open flame melt and ignite the plastic. Prolonged direct sunlight makes the plastic brittle and fades the colours.
