Yato cordless trimmer 18V 25-30 cm body only is an 18 V cordless line trimmer without a battery or charger. The motor speed is 8000 min⁻¹, the cutting width 250 / 300 mm and the line thickness 1.6 mm. The body-only model is intended for users who already have a Yato 18V range battery and charger.
The brushed motor spins the line head steadily, and the cutting blade on the edge of the guard keeps the line at the right length. The blade position selects a cutting width of 250 mm or 300 mm. The spool holds 5 m of nylon line as standard, and the line is fed with the button on the spool without winding by hand.
The telescopic shaft adjusts steplessly between 1030–1230 mm, so the working height can be matched to the user’s height. The front handle position is adjustable, the lower part of the shaft turns 180° and the cutting head 90°, so the trimmer can also cut lawn edges vertically. At the front of the cutting head there is a swivelling distance guard that protects walls, fences and plantings from line strikes.
The trimmer weighs 1.6 kg without the battery, and its length is 103.1 cm. The trimmer works with all Yato 18V range Li-Ion batteries (2.0–9.0 Ah), and the battery has a charge level indicator. The line trimmer is intended for finishing lawns in places a lawn mower cannot reach. The light body and adjustable shaft suit repeated trimming both in gardens and in property maintenance.

Instructions for using the Yato cordless trimmer 18V 25-30 cm:
Assemble the trimmer before first use: push the hooks of the cutting guard into the body and fix the guard with three screws. Charge the Yato 18V battery with its charger until the green indicator light stays lit. Adjust the length of the telescopic shaft by turning the locking ring open, pulling the shaft to a suitable length and locking the ring; adjust the front handle so that you work with your elbows bent and your back straight.
Push the battery into the slot until the latch locks. Grip the front and rear handles, press the switch lock with your thumb and squeeze the switch. Move the trimmer from right to left and cut only with the tip of the line; cut long grass in stages from the top down. When cutting edges, turn the lower part of the shaft 180° and the cutting head 90°, and swing out the distance guard. Feed the line by pressing the button on the spool; excess line is cut off by the blade on the guard when starting.
When the line no longer feeds, replace it: remove the spool cover by pressing both locking buttons, clean the spool and cover, wind 1.6 mm line in the direction of the arrow and put the spool back. Clean the body and ventilation openings with a dry cloth after every use and store the trimmer in a dry place out of the reach of children.
