Yato 18V garden tools are cordless machines for looking after the yard and garden: mowing the lawn, trimming edges, cutting hedges and branches, pruning trees and clearing leaves. The group includes trimmers and brush cutters, hedge trimmers and grass shears, chainsaws and pruning saws, pruning shears, lawn mowers and leaf blowers, as well as a cordless pressure washer, a cordless backpack sprayer, a cordless garden tiller and a cordless submersible pump. The machines are used in home gardens, at summer cottages, in property maintenance and in landscaping work. All machines use the same Yato 18V battery.

Selection criteria

• One battery system: the same Yato 18V Li-Ion battery fits all garden machines and tools in the range. Batteries come in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 Ah sizes.
• 2x18V machines: the 14" and 16" chainsaws, the brush cutter, the lawn mowers, some of the leaf blowers and the 2x18V hedge trimmer use two 18V batteries at the same time (36 V).
• Body only or set: a body-only model is supplied without a battery and charger, while a set includes them. A set for a 2x18V machine has two batteries.
• Battery size: a 2 Ah battery keeps hand-held machines such as pruning shears and hedge trimmers lighter. Lawn mowers, chainsaws and leaf blowers use more power, so a 4 Ah or larger battery suits them.
• Other garden machines: the cordless pressure washer (23 bar) cleans garden furniture, bicycles and surfaces, the cordless backpack sprayer (10 l) applies sprayable solutions, the cordless garden tiller works the soil in the vegetable patch and the cordless submersible pump moves water, for example from a rainwater tank.

Yes. Yato 18V garden machines and tools use the same 18V battery and the same chargers.

What does 2x18V mean?
The machine uses two 18V batteries at the same time, giving a voltage of 36 V. This gives high-power machines such as chainsaws and lawn mowers more power and run time.

Should I buy a body-only model or a set?
If you already have a Yato 18V battery and charger, the body-only model is enough. It makes sense to buy your first machine as a set, with the battery and charger included.
