Description
Kapro line laser Maestro 3D (Kapro 963, MAESTRO 3D All-Lines) is a green-beam 3 x 360° cross-line laser: one horizontal line and two vertical lines at right angles to each other, all around the whole room. The accuracy is ±0.2 mm/m, the working range 30 m without and 70 m with a receiver. The body is IP65 rated and withstands a 1 metre drop. The set is supplied in a hard case.
Pendulum levelling levels the laser automatically within ±3°; in manual mode the lines can be locked at an angle, for example for stair handrails. The horizontal line can be projected above or below the device. Pulse mode for a receiver, Flash mode for bright light and power-saving ECO mode are available. The green beam (510–540 nm, laser class 2) is clearly more visible indoors than red.
The power source is a removable rechargeable Li-ion battery (21700) with a run time, according to the manufacturer, of up to 8–10 hours in normal mode and 15 hours in ECO mode. It is charged from a USB-C port or wirelessly on a Qi charging pad. The device has a 1/4″ tripod thread, and a multi-purpose magnetic bracket and a remote control are included.
The Kapro line laser Maestro 3D is a professional measuring instrument made by the Israeli company Kapro Industries Ltd, intended for construction, interior installation and HVAC and electrical work.
Intended use and suitability:
The Kapro line laser Maestro 3D is intended for marking horizontal and vertical lines around the whole room with one set-up. For lighter use, choose the Kapro cross laser Nucleo 360° green 3 lines + wall bracket and the Kapro cross laser set 875G green 1H+4V hard case; for outdoor work over long distances the Kapro rotary laser set 8991G 300 m rotating IP65 green + detector.
- Tiling and floors: Two 360° vertical lines give a right angle on the floor and walls as a starting line for tiling; the horizontal line from below for checking the floor level.
- Partition walls and suspended ceilings: The 360° horizontal line goes round the whole room for marking ceiling heights and stud lines with one set-up.
- Kitchen and furniture installation: Top and bottom lines of cabinets and vertical dividing lines; the magnetic bracket attaches to steel profiles and rails.
- Electrical and HVAC installation: Aligning boxes, rows of lights and pipe runs; in pulse mode a receiver extends the working range to 70 metres in a hall or outdoors.

Kapro line laser Maestro 3D instructions for use:
Getting started: Fully charge the battery with the USB-C charger or on a Qi pad and lock the battery into the device. Place the laser on a tripod, in the magnetic bracket or on a level surface.
Levelling: Release the pendulum lock; the laser levels itself within ±3°, and the lines flash if the tilt exceeds the range. Select the lines with the buttons or the remote control: H (horizontal), V1, V2 or all.
Manual mode: Lock the pendulum and tilt the device to the angle you want; the lines stay locked for angled markings.
Receiver and bright light: Switch on pulse mode for use with a receiver (70 m) or Flash mode in bright surroundings; ECO mode extends the run time.
Storage: Always lock the pendulum before transport and store the device in the hard case.
Warnings:
- Laser class 2: do not look directly into the beam or point it at people or animals.
- Lock the pendulum before transport: a free pendulum is damaged by knocks.
- Use only the supplied Li-ion battery and charger; do not charge below 0 °C or above 40 °C.
- Beamfinder glasses improve the visibility of the beam, but they are not safety glasses.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
What does 2V+1H mean for the Kapro line laser Maestro 3D?
Two 360° vertical lines (V) and one 360° horizontal line (H), three lines in total going all round the room.
Is a receiver included in the set?
No. The set includes a remote control, magnetic bracket, glasses, target, charger and case; the receiver is purchased separately, and with it the working range is 70 m.
Can the laser be used outdoors?
Yes: the IP65 body withstands dust and rain, and pulse mode with a receiver works in sunlight.
Does the laser fit a 5/8″ tripod?
The device has a 1/4″ thread. A 5/8″ tripod needs an adaptor.
Recycling instructions:
The Kapro line laser Maestro 3D is electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE): take a device at the end of its life to WEEE collection and the removable Li-ion battery to a battery collection point, not to mixed waste. Recycle the hard case and plastic parts according to local instructions and the packaging cardboard as cardboard.
