Description

Mikov coloured drawing pins are steel pins whose flat head is covered with a coloured plastic layer. The pin is pressed with a finger into a soft base, so the steel point pierces the sheet being fixed and stays in place held by the base. The pack contains 100 pins in a colour assortment.

The point and body are steel. Steel gives the point the stiffness needed to pierce cork, felt and soft wood without bending. The conical shape of the point concentrates the pressing force on a small area, so the pin sinks in with light finger pressure.

The plastic coating on the head forms a pressing surface that is wider and softer than a bare metal head. The coating spreads the pressure on the finger, so putting in and removing the pin does not press a metal edge into the skin. The coating also carries the colour: the assortment contains several basic colours that are used for marking and sorting.

The flat head holds the fixed sheet tightly against the base, unlike domed pins, which leave a gap under the paper. The pin fixes a thin sheet to a soft base temporarily and comes out leaving no mark other than a pinhole.

Fixing: Place the sheet on the base and hold it in place with your free hand. Take a pin from the box by its coated head and push the point through the sheet perpendicularly into the base. Press with your thumb in the middle of the head until the point is fully in the base and the head touches the paper.

Removal: Grip the coated head with your thumb and index finger and pull straight out, parallel to the surface of the base. Pulling at an angle bends the point.

Base: Use cork, felt, soft wood or insulation board. A hard base such as concrete, brick or metal bends the point and can make the pin pop out.

Storage: Keep the pins in a closed box. Pick up dropped pins from the floor immediately.

Warnings:

The point is sharp and causes puncture wounds. Always handle the pin by its coated head.
A pin dropped on the floor can pierce the sole of a foot or a tyre. Pick up dropped pins immediately.
Small part: a swallowed pin causes serious internal injury and a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Do not fix electrical wires or cables with a pin. The steel point pierces the insulation and causes a short circuit or electric shock.

Käyttötarkoitus

Kevyiden arkkien, kuten muistilappujen, aikataulujen, karttojen ja julisteiden, väliaikainen kiinnittäminen pehmeään alustaan: korkki- ja huopataulu, pehmeä puu ja eristelevy. Tuote on tarkoitettu toimisto-, koulu- ja kotikäyttöön. Se ei ole lelu eikä kuormaa kantava kiinnitin, eikä sitä ole tarkoitettu koviin alustoihin, sähköjohtojen kiinnittämiseen tai ihoon kohdistuvaan käyttöön.

Lasten ja lemmikkien varoitukset

Tuote ei ole lelu. Nasta on pieni osa, jossa on terävä teräskärki: nieltynä tai hengitettynä se aiheuttaa vakavan sisäisen vamman ja tukehtumisvaaran, ja sama riski koskee lemmikkejä. Käyttöohje ja turvatiedot

Tarkasta nasta ennen käyttöä: taipunut kärki tai lohjennut pinnoite poistetaan käytöstä. Ota nasta rasiasta aina pinnoitetusta päästä. Toiminta ja suojatoimet

Toiminta on mekaaninen: kartiomainen teräskärki lävistää arkin ja tunkeutuu pehmeään alustaan, jonka kitka pitää nastan paikallaan, ja tasainen pää painaa arkin alustaa vasten. Bruksanvisning och säkerhetsinformation

Kontrollera stiftet före användning: ett böjt stift eller en flisad beläggning ska kasseras. Ta alltid stiftet ur asken i det belagda huvudet. Intended use

Temporary fixing of light sheets, such as notes, schedules, maps and posters, to a soft base: cork and felt boards, softwood and insulation board. The product is intended for office, school and home use. It is not a toy or a load-bearing fastener, and it is not intended for hard bases, for fixing electrical cables or for use against the skin.

Warnings for children and pets

The product is not a toy. A drawing pin is a small part with a sharp steel point: if swallowed or inhaled, it causes serious internal injury and a choking hazard, and the same risk applies to pets. A pin dropped on the floor pierces a bare sole or paw. Keep the pins in a closed box out of the reach of children and pets and pick up dropped pins immediately. Children may use drawing pins only under adult supervision.

Instructions for use and safety information

Inspect the pin before use: a pin with a bent point or chipped coating is taken out of use. Always take the pin out of the box by its coated head. Push the point through the sheet perpendicular to the base and press with your thumb on the centre of the head. Remove the pin by gripping the head and pulling straight out; pulling at an angle bends the point. Do not press the pin into a hard base, do not use it to fix an electrical wire or cable and do not strike the pin with a hammer. Make sure there is no wire or pipe behind the base. Store the pins in a closed box.

Operation and protective measures

Environmental conditions

Use and storage in dry indoor conditions at room temperature. Moisture rusts the steel point, which then weakens and may break off in the base. Avoid prolonged storage in damp areas and dry the box if it gets wet.

Kasutusotstarve

Kergete lehtede, nagu märkmete, ajakavade, kaartide ja plakatite ajutine kinnitamine pehmele alusele: korgi- ja vilttahvlile, pehmele puidule ja isolatsiooniplaadile. Toode on ette nähtud kasutamiseks kontoris, koolis ja kodus. See ei ole mänguasi ega koormust kandev kinnitusvahend ning see ei ole ette nähtud kõvadele alustele, elektrijuhtmete kinnitamiseks ega kasutamiseks vastu nahka.

Hoiatused laste ja lemmikloomade kohta

Toode ei ole mänguasi. Rõhknael on väike terava terasotsaga detail: allaneelamisel või sissehingamisel põhjustab see raske sisevigastuse ja lämbumisohu ning sama oht kehtib lemmikloomade kohta. Põrandale kukkunud rõhknael läbistab paljad jalatallad või käpa. Hoidke rõhknaelu suletud karbis laste ja lemmikloomade käeulatusest eemal ning korjake kukkunud rõhknaelad kohe üles. Lapsed tohivad rõhknaelu kasutada ainult täiskasvanu järelevalve all.

Kasutusjuhend ja ohutusteave

Kontrollige rõhknaela enne kasutamist: kõverdunud otsaga või murenenud kattega rõhknael kõrvaldatakse kasutusest. Võtke rõhknael karbist alati kattega peast. Asetage ots läbi lehe risti alusega ja vajutage pöidlaga pea keskele. Eemaldage rõhknael peast haarates ja otse välja tõmmates; viltu tõmbamine painutab otsa.
