Description
The Vorel ratchet strap is a 2-part, 4 metre long and 38 mm wide tensioning strap designed for reliable, safe load securing. It is an essential tool for securing loads on trailers, vans and other vehicles, stopping goods from moving in transport. The lashing capacity of this strap (LC – Lashing Capacity) is 1000 daN in a straight pull and 2000 daN in a loop, which corresponds to loads of about 1000 kg and 2000 kg. It meets the requirements of the European standard EN 12195-2 and is GS-certified.
The strap is made of durable polyester (PES), which withstands weather and UV radiation well. It has a sturdy steel ratchet mechanism that makes it easy to tension the strap tightly, and two J-hooks that are easy to attach to lashing points. The strap is brightly coloured, which improves visibility and safety.

Vorel ratchet strap 4 m 1000/2000daN instructions for use:
Before use, check the strap for wear or damage. Do not use a damaged strap. Make sure the ratchet mechanism works properly. Choose lashing points that can take the pressure of the load. Attach the hooks to the lashing points. Take the strap over the load and wrap it around the load if needed. Thread the strap through the ratchet mechanism and tighten it by pulling the loose end. Use the ratchet for the final tensioning of the strap. Make sure the strap is tight and the load is firmly secured. Wind the excess strap around the ratchet or secure it separately. Check the tension of the load regularly during the journey. Open the ratchet by pressing the release lever and pulling the handle. Detach the hooks from the lashing points and roll up the strap.
