Description
The Cox sealant gun Powerflow 600 ml is a manual dispensing gun that works with both sausage packs and cartridges. The gun has a thrust ratio of 12:1 and a maximum thrust of 2.5 kN, which is enough for dispensing ordinary silicone, acrylic, hybrid and polyurethane compounds. The overall length is 488 mm and the barrel length 389 mm.
The handle is epoxy-coated cast aluminium and the barrel anodised aluminium. The coating protects the handle from compound splashes and solvents, and the anodising reduces the compound sticking to the inside of the barrel. The shaped handle and trigger spread the squeezing force over the palm, which reduces the load on the hand in repetitive sealing work.
The model has a switchable pressure relief device (Pressure Relief Device, PRD). When the trigger is released, the device backs off the pressure of the rack and stops the compound running from the nozzle. The feature can be switched off when dispensing stiff compound, where after-flow is not a problem. The diameter of the nozzle opening is 38 mm.
The combi design means that the same barrel works in two ways: a 600 ml sausage pack is placed directly inside the barrel and the pack is cut open, or the barrel takes a 310 or 400 ml cartridge. Switching is done by changing the plunger and the end cap, without tools. Intended use and suitability:
The Cox sealant gun Powerflow 600 ml is intended for dispensing one-component sealants and adhesives from sausage packs or cartridges when the viscosity of the compound is low or medium.
- Sealing and caulking: element joints, expansion joints, window and door junctions and floor-to-wall junctions, where the 600 ml pack reduces pack changes on a long joint.
- Tiling and wet rooms: silicone joints in the corners of tiled surfaces and at penetrations, where pressure relief stops compound running onto the finished surface.
- Bonding: bead dispensing of hybrid and polyurethane adhesives onto panels, trims and building boards.
- Glazing and sheet metal work: dispensing sealant through the 38 mm nozzle with a varying bead width.
- Repair and maintenance work: cartridge use for 310 and 400 ml packs when only a little compound is needed and the pack changes often.

Cox sealant gun Powerflow Avon 600 ml instructions for use:
1. Choosing the method of use: Choose sausage pack or cartridge use. With a sausage pack, the sausage pack plunger and end cap are used in the barrel; with a cartridge, the cartridge’s own nozzle and a matching plunger.
2. Opening the barrel: Pull the rack back to its end position. Unscrew the end cap of the barrel.
3. Fitting a sausage pack: Push the pack into the barrel, nozzle end first. Cut the clip or film of the pack open by about 10 mm. Screw the end cap back on and fit the nozzle under the retaining ring. Do not overtighten the plastic thread.
4. Fitting a cartridge: Place the cartridge in the barrel, open the cartridge thread and cut the nozzle at an angle to suit the bead width you want.
5. Dispensing: Push the rack against the compound until the compound starts to move. Squeeze the trigger at an even rate and move the nozzle along the joint just as evenly. The bead width is adjusted by how the nozzle is cut and by the speed of progress, not by the squeezing force.
6. Pausing dispensing: Release the trigger. When pressure relief is switched on, the rack backs off by itself and the compound stops running. Without pressure relief, the rack is released by hand with the release lever at the back.
7. Cleaning: Remove the remains of the pack and wipe the inside of the barrel, the plunger and the end cap before the compound hardens. Hardened compound increases plunger friction and shortens the life of the seal.
8. Maintenance: Check the plunger seal and the retaining ring regularly. A worn seal lets compound past the plunger into the barrel and weakens the dispensing pressure; replace the seal with a spare part. Lubricate the rack lightly if its movement becomes stiff.
Warnings:
- Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Pressure left in the barrel can be released as a splash of compound when the end cap is opened.
- Release the pressure of the rack and remove the pack before cleaning and changing parts.
- The rack and plunger move with force: risk of crushing fingers at the back end of the barrel.
- Do not overtighten the plastic end cap or the retaining ring; the thread may fail during dispensing.
- Do not use a damaged barrel, a cracked retaining ring or a bent rack.
- Follow the safety data sheet of the compound being dispensed: it determines the protective equipment, ventilation and application temperature.
- Do not point the nozzle at yourself or others during dispensing.
- The gun is intended for one-component compounds; do not use it in pressurised systems.

Take a sealant gun that is no longer used to metal collection or a recycling centre: the handle and barrel are aluminium. Remove plastic parts such as the end cap and plunger and sort them into plastic collection. Compound residue and hardened compound belong in mixed waste or the waste fraction given in the safety data sheet of the compound. Sort empty sausage packs and cartridges into plastic collection and cardboard packaging into carton collection.

Käyttötarkoitus

Lasten ja lemmikkien varoitukset
Ei lasten lelu. Hammastanko ja liipaisinmekanismi aiheuttavat puristumisvaaran sormille. Pistoolissa ja irrotettavissa osissa voi olla jäämiä annostellusta massasta, joka voi olla nieltynä tai iholle joutuessaan haitallista. Käyttöohje ja turvatiedot
Vedä hammastanko taakse, kierrä etukorkki irti ja aseta makkarapakkaus tai patruuna runkoon. Leikkaa makkarapakkaus auki noin 10 mm ja kiinnitä suutin kiristysrenkaan alle kiristämättä muovikierrettä liikaa. Annostele puristelemalla liipaisinta tasaisella tahdilla. Vapauta liipaisin annostelun keskeytyessä; kytketty paineenvapautuslaitteisto peruuttaa hammastangon painetta itsestään. Vapauta paine ja irrota pakkaus ennen puhdistusta ja osien vaihtoa. Pyyhi runko, mäntä ja etukorkki ennen massan kovettumista. Käytä suojalaseja ja suojakäsineitä sekä noudata annosteltavan massan käyttöturvallisuustiedotetta.
Toiminta ja suojatoimet
Liipaisimen liike siirtyy 12:1-välityksellä hammastangolle, joka työntää mäntää rungon sisällä ja synnyttää enintään 2,5 kN puristusvoiman. Mäntä ja sen tiiviste muodostavat annostelupaineen; kiristysrengas ja tiivistysrengas pitävät suuttimen paikallaan. Kytkettävä paineenvapautuslaitteisto purkaa jäännöspaineen liipaisimen vapautuessa ja estää massan hallitsemattoman valumisen suuttimesta. Epoksipinnoitettu kädensija ja anodisoitu runko kestävät massaroiskeet ja puhdistuksen. Kuluneen tiivisteen vaihto estää massan vuotamisen männän ohi. Vaurioitunutta runkoa, halkeillutta kiristysrengasta tai vääntynyttä hammastankoa ei saa käyttää.

Sisä- ja ulkokäyttö normaaleissa työmaaolosuhteissa. Käyttölämpötila seuraa annosteltavan massan käyttöturvallisuustiedotetta; kylmä massa vaatii suuremman puristusvoiman ja voi ylittää pistoolin kapasiteetin. Säilytys puhtaana ja kuivana sisätilassa. Suora auringonvalo ja liuottimet vanhentavat muoviosia ja tiivisteitä.

Handdriven dosering av enkomponents tätnings- och limmassor från 600 ml korvförpackning samt 310 och 400 ml patron vid bygg-, montage- och reparationsarbeten. Produkten är inte en tryckbehållare och får inte anslutas till tryckluft eller andra trycksatta system. Den är inte avsedd för tvåkomponentsmassor eller för andra förpackningsstorlekar än de som tillverkaren anger.
Varningar för barn och husdjur
Ingen leksak. Kuggstången och avtryckarmekanismen medför klämrisk för fingrar. Pistolen och de löstagbara delarna kan ha rester av doserad massa som kan vara skadlig vid förtäring eller hudkontakt. Små delar såsom tätningar och ringar medför kvävningsrisk vid förtäring. Förvaras utom räckhåll för barn och husdjur.
Bruksanvisning och säkerhetsinformation
Dra kuggstången bakåt, skruva loss frontkåpan och sätt i korvförpackningen eller patronen i cylindern. Öppna korvförpackningen med ett cirka 10 mm snitt och fäst munstycket under spännringen utan att dra åt plastgängan för hårt. Dosera genom att trycka på avtryckaren i jämn takt. Släpp avtryckaren vid avbrott; en inkopplad tryckavlastning drar tillbaka trycket i kuggstången automatiskt. Släpp trycket och ta bort förpackningen före rengöring och delbyte. Torka av cylindern, kolven och frontkåpan innan massan härdar. Använd skyddsglasögon och skyddshandskar och följ säkerhetsdatabladet för den doserade massan.
Funktion och skyddsåtgärder
Avtryckarens rörelse överförs med utväxlingen 12:1 till kuggstången, som skjuter kolven i cylindern och ger en tryckkraft på högst 2,5 kN. Kolven och dess tätning bygger upp doseringstrycket; spännringen och tätningsringen håller munstycket på plats. Den inkopplingsbara tryckavlastningen släpper resttrycket när avtryckaren släpps och hindrar att massa rinner okontrollerat ur munstycket. Det epoxibelagda handtaget och den anodiserade cylindern tål massastänk och rengöring. Byte av sliten tätning hindrar att massa läcker förbi kolven. En skadad cylinder, sprucken spännring eller böjd kuggstång får inte användas.
Miljöförhållanden
Inom- och utomhusbruk under normala byggarbetsplatsförhållanden. Användningstemperaturen följer säkerhetsdatabladet för den doserade massan; kall massa kräver högre tryckkraft och kan överskrida pistolens kapacitet. Förvaras ren och torr inomhus. Direkt solljus och lösningsmedel åldrar plastdelar och tätningar.
Riskbedömning och riskkartläggning
Stänkrisk: resttryck i cylindern kan tryckas ut som massastänk när frontkåpan öppnas eller munstycket lossas – tryckavlastning före service och ögonskydd. Klämrisk: kuggstången och kolven rör sig med kraft – håll fingrarna borta från cylinderns bakre del. Gängbrott: en överdragen eller sliten frontkåpa eller spännring kan lossna under användning – korrekt åtdragning och byte av slitna delar. Kemisk exponering: den doserade massan kan irritera hud och luftvägar – skyddsutrustning och ventilation enligt säkerhetsdatabladet. Belastning på handen vid upprepad klämning – pauser och rätt arbetsställning. Riskerna hanteras genom bruksanvisning, kontroll av skicket före användning och byte av slitdelar mot reservdelar.
