Cox (PC Cox) was founded in 1958 by Patrick Cox, when he developed a revolutionary dispensing mechanism. Since then the brand has been a pioneer in dispensing sealants and adhesives. Cox products are known all over the world for their iconic model names, such as Easiflow, Powerflow and Airflow, which are synonymous with reliability in demanding site conditions.
Today Cox is part of the medmix group, but the core of the brand has stayed the same: to offer tools that last years, not months. Cox's strength lies in its mechanism. The patented "Catch Plate" drive plates are made of hardened sintered steel, which guarantees instant power transfer without slipping, whether the material is runny silicone or stiff fire-rated foam.
Legendary hand guns with a high thrust ratio. Designed for medium- and high-viscosity materials.
For industrial use and long sealing runs. Compressed air guarantees an even flow of material without pumping.
Cordless freedom and maximum force. Ideal for cold conditions and large sites.
It tells you how much the gun multiplies the squeezing force of your hand. A ratio of 12:1 means that 1 kg of squeezing force on the handle produces 12 kg of thrust. The stiffer the material, the higher the ratio needed (e.g. 18:1 or 25:1).
Yes. Most Cox 600ml "sausage" (foil pack) guns can be converted to take ordinary plastic cartridges too, by changing the piston plate or using an adapter.
This is caused by pressure remaining in the cartridge. Cox guns have automatic pressure release (PRD), but on some models it can be switched on and off. Make sure the mechanism is active.
Absolutely. Cox is the market leader in 2-component guns (coaxial and side-by-side cartridges), which are used for chemical anchoring and injection.
