Description
Schwan paint roller pack 100 mm is a mini roller pack that contains a roller frame, four 100 mm replacement rollers (two foam rollers and two pile rollers) and a paint tray. The 100 mm working width is the standard size for mini rollers and fits common mini roller trays.
The two roller types cover two different surface requirements. The foam roller applies the paint as a thin film and leaves a smooth, almost texture-free surface, so it suits doors, frames, mouldings and furniture. The pile roller picks up more paint and covers faster, so it suits narrow strips of wall and surfaces where a slight roller texture is acceptable.
The rollers are pushed onto the frame holder to fit them and pulled off to remove them, so changing the roller type in the middle of a job is quick. One frame is enough when a smooth roller and a covering roller are used in turns on the same job.
The narrow 100 mm width takes the paint to places where a wide roller does not fit: behind radiators, next to pipework, inside cabinets and between pieces of furniture. When the same roller type is needed for several work stages, a larger option is the Schwan paint roller set 100 mm 10-piece (8 rollers + 2 frames), and for wide wall surfaces the Schwan paint roller pack 18 cm.
Intended use and suitability:
A mini roller applies paint to a narrow surface more evenly than a brush and without brush marks; the roller type is chosen to suit the desired surface texture.
- Doors, frames and mouldings: the foam roller leaves a smooth surface on which the roller texture does not show.
- Furniture and cabinets: the narrow roller handles door faces, sides and the inside of cabinets.
- Radiators and pipework: the frame takes the roller behind the radiator and between pipes.
- Narrow wall strips and pillars: the pile roller quickly covers small wall surfaces and patched spots.

Schwan paint roller pack 100 mm instructions for use:
Preparation: Clean and dry the surface to be painted and protect the surroundings. Choose the roller to suit the surface: foam for smooth furniture surfaces, pile for other surfaces. Push the roller all the way onto the frame holder.
Application: Pour paint into the paint tray from the pack. Dip the roller in the paint and even it out against the grid of the tray. Apply the paint in even strokes and finish with a light stroke in the same direction. Paint against the wet edge so that the joins do not show. With the foam roller, avoid rolling fast, as this introduces air bubbles into the paint.
Cleaning: Remove the roller immediately after work. Wash water-based paint out with warm water and soap until the rinse water runs clear, and solvent-based paint with the thinner specified by the paint manufacturer. Dry the rollers in an airy place.
Warnings:
- Make sure the roller is securely fitted before starting work; a roller that comes off splashes paint.
- Wear safety glasses and gloves as well as the protection specified in the paint manufacturer’s instructions.
- Ensure ventilation when painting indoors.
- Do not use a damaged roller or a bent frame.
- Keep the tools and paints out of the reach of children.
