Yato cordless work light 18V 10000LM (YT-829670) is a 360° omnidirectional site light whose SMD LED light source produces up to 10,000 lm of glare-free, diffused light. The light works both with a Yato 18 V Li-Ion battery and on mains power with the supplied 3 m cable, and the light output is the same with either power source.
The four power levels (100 / 50 / 25 / 10%) correspond to 10,000, 5000, 2500 and 1000 lumens, and the colour temperature is selected from five values 2700–6500 K from warm to cool. The operating time on battery stated by the manufacturer is 120 min/Ah (10%), 60 min/Ah (25%), 28 min/Ah (50%) and 14 min/Ah (100%); a five-step indicator shows the battery charge level.
The body is made of polyamide PA12 and the diffusing dome of polycarbonate. The IP rating is IP65 (dust-tight, resistant to water jets) and the impact resistance IK08, so the light is suitable for outdoor use and sites at temperatures of -10…+40 °C. Instructions for using the Yato cordless work light 18V 10000LM:
Battery operation: open the battery compartment cover and push a charged Yato 18 V battery into the slot until the latch locks. Close the cover to keep the IP65 seal. Use only compatible batteries and Yato chargers.
Mains operation: connect the quick connector of the 3 m cable to the socket on the light and the plug to a 230 V socket. The light output is the same as on battery. Do not use the battery and mains cable at the same time unless the instruction manual allows it.
Use: the power button switches on the light and changes the power level 100 → 50 → 25 → 10%. The colour temperature is selected from five levels with its own button. The five steps of the charge display show the battery status.
Placement: place the light on a level surface, hang it from the retractable hook or attach it to tripod YT-829671 with the thread in the base. Make sure the hanging point can carry the weight of the light and battery.
Maintenance: remove the battery and mains cable before cleaning. Wipe the body and dome with a damp cloth without solvents; after use, check the condition of the dome and cable. The unit must not be dismantled during the warranty period.
