Lights

Cordless work lights are 18V battery-powered site lights and torches for lighting the work area and workspace without a mains cable. The luminous flux is 250–10,000 lm. The lights are used on construction sites, in workshops, in installation and maintenance work, in the garden and as backup lighting during power cuts. All lights use the Yato 18V battery.

Selection criteria

• Luminous flux: 250–500 lm is enough for a task light, 1,600–3,600 lm for a room or workstation and 5,000–10,000 lm for lighting a wide area.
• Light direction: a 360° light illuminates the whole surrounding area, while an adjustable head lets you aim the light at the work.
• Power source: the 18V/230V model runs on both battery and mains power, the other models on an 18V battery.
• Body-only model: the lights are supplied as body-only models without a battery and charger. The battery and charger are bought separately or as a set.

Frequently asked questions about cordless work lights

How long does a work light run on one battery?
The run time depends on the luminous flux and the battery size. A larger battery, for example 4–9 Ah, gives a longer run time, and it is worth adjusting the brightness to what you need.

Can the light be used outdoors?
Check the IP rating of the light. An IP20-rated light is intended for dry indoor spaces.
