Toolcat Oy is the importer and distributor of Hase protective gloves in Finland. Germany's HASE Safety Group has protected professionals' hands for almost 90 years: EN 388- and EN 407-certified leather and cut-resistant gloves whose fit does not restrict finger dexterity.

More than just a glove

The HASE Safety Group story began in 1937, and the company has grown from a local maker of leather gloves into an international protective equipment specialist. Its success is based on a deep understanding of the requirements of different industries: a welder needs different protection from a precision mechanic.

HASE's product development takes place in Germany, and the company invests heavily in materials testing. It uses only selected leather grades and modern cut-resistant fibres to ensure that every pair of gloves meets strict European safety standards. The "Original" range gloves are a byword in the trade thanks to their exceptional fit.

What does the EN 388 marking mean?

It shows the glove's protection against mechanical hazards. The code (e.g. 4X43D) gives the levels of abrasion resistance, cut protection, tear resistance, puncture protection and the new ISO cut protection.

Can leather gloves be washed?

Washing leather gloves in water is generally not recommended, as the leather hardens as it dries. HASE synthetic assembly gloves can often be washed according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Which glove is suitable for oily conditions?

Nitrile-coated gloves are the best choice for oily surfaces, as nitrile repels oil and gives a good grip. PU coating is better suited to dry precision work.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the circumference of your palm at the knuckles (without the thumb). HASE gloves follow standard sizing (sizes 6–12), which ensures the right fit.

Kuinka nopeasti Hase-tilaukset toimitetaan?

Varastotuotteet toimitetaan tyypillisesti 48 tunnissa koko Suomeen. Toimitusaika on normaalisti 1–5 työpäivää lähetystavasta ja sijainnista riippuen. Toimitamme myös muihin Pohjoismaihin ja Baltiaan, jolloin toimitusaika ja -kulut sovitaan tilauskohtaisesti. Tuotteet voi myös noutaa Vantaan varastoltamme sopimuksen mukaan.

Yes. We sell only to businesses. Protective gloves are personal protective equipment where customers buy the same model again and again: the EN 388 marking and the size spread decide a contract customer's choice.
