Instructions for using the Yato blades for cordless pruning shears 30 mm:
Preparation: remove the battery from the pruning shears and put on protective gloves. Undo the two cross-head screws of the top cover with a cross-head screwdriver and lift the cover off.
Removing the old blades: remove the bolt (a), washer (b), nut (c) and locking ring (d) in this order. Tap the blade assembly loose carefully with a wooden dowel and remove the worn blade (e). Clean the drive gear (f) if necessary without chemicals.
Fitting the new blades: place the new upper and lower blades in position and reassemble the parts in reverse order. The flat surface of the locking ring (d) must meet the flat surface of the shaft. Do not overtighten the nut: there must be no sideways play between the blades, but the blades must move easily.
Finishing: drip 2–3 drops of machine oil into the lubrication hole, fit the top cover, insert the battery and run a few empty cutting cycles. Check the blade tension before the first cut.
