Saws and multi-tools are cordless machines for sawing wood, boards, metal and plastic and for precise plunge cutting and finishing work. The group includes circular saws, reciprocating saws, jigsaws, mitre saws, multi-tools and a carpenter's chainsaw. The machines are used in construction, demolition and renovation work and in joinery. All machines use the Yato 18V battery.

Selection criteria

  • Circular saw: for straight cuts in wood and boards. A 140 mm blade is light, a 165 mm blade cuts deeper, and a guide rail keeps the cut straight.
  • Reciprocating saw and jigsaw: a reciprocating saw suits demolition and cutting pipes, beams and branches, while a jigsaw suits curved and precise cuts in boards.
  • Mitre saw: with a 185 mm blade you can cut mouldings, battens and framing timber accurately, straight or at an angle.
  • Multi-tool: an oscillating machine for plunge cutting, scraping and sanding in tight spaces. The quick-release system speeds up blade changes.
  • Body only or set: a body-only model is supplied without a battery and charger, while a set includes them.
